I would like to give a very big shout out to O’Connor Heating & Cooling and their incredible team. Having worked in property management for several years, I’ve been fortunate to learn quite a bit about maintenance. However, one thing I did not fully realize was the importance of regularly cleaning not only your dryer vents, but also the ductwork throughout your home.

During a recent cleaning at my home, the technicians from O’Connor discovered dangerously high carbon monoxide levels. This discovery truly may have saved my life.

For the past several weeks, I had been feeling extremely tired and unwell. I even went to the doctor and had blood work done, but everything came back normal. Looking back now, the symptoms—persistent headaches, fatigue, and flu-like feelings—were likely caused by the carbon monoxide exposure. My son and I had both been feeling miserable and couldn’t figure out why.

What’s even more concerning is that I had two plug-in carbon monoxide detectors, and neither one alerted us. That alone was a huge wake-up call for me about the importance of having reliable detection and routine HVAC inspections.

The fact that the O’Connor team took the time to thoroughly check everything and discovered the issue speaks volumes about the quality, care, and professionalism of their technicians. It truly shows they are not just doing a job—they genuinely care about the safety of the people they serve.

O'Connor Is amazing! They've helped us twice with our AC and Furnace- once in the summer and once in the winter. Our unit is on the way out and we are just trying to keep it going as long as possible. The team is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about their customers. O'Connor Heating & Cooling was able to diagnose my problems with my old (30 year +) furnace immediately and recommended a new model that would be more efficient and give me a better peace of mind instead of putting a band aid on a failing system. It was replaced the following day quickly with extreme care in moving the new and old furnace across my kitchen floors.
