We had three HVAC/AC Companies come out and provide quotes for a full home install with no pre-existing duct work/units.Air Solutions wasn't the cheapest quote we received but we moved forward with them for the following reasons.John Magro, with Air Solutions, was top notch. Very thorough in every aspect. Our home is a little wonky where central air wasn't a solution for the entire house. He was able to deliver a plan with a combo of mini-splits throughout our house/different areas and central air in the remaining.What was most impressive is John came back out with one of his PMs to make sure that what he told me could come to life. He wanted to be 100% sure that his proposal was going to work and there wouldn't be an issue once the installation process started.They went as far as drilling through one of our attack walls to make sure there was enough space in the adjoining room's ceiling to send duct work through.No other company went to that distance to ensure their plans/proposals would work.Even though their quote was about $10kish higher than the cheaper quote I didn't hesitate moving forward with Air Solutions.Another thing I was impressed by was the amount of drop cloths these guys have. They probably have more than a painting crew does! First day of installation work I was blown away at the amount of drop cloths they put down to protect our floors/stairs etc. They certainly didn't have to do it, but they did because their team is top notch.To the entire Air Solutions team that spent an entire week at our house THANK YOU!
A “first class” second opinion!We have had an ongoing problem with our 2.5 year old heat pump since January. Our regular HVAC contractor visited us several times but never was able to convince we that they were able to diagnose the issue. I called Air Solutions, upon the recommendation of my neighbors, for a second opinion. The technician, Rich, has visited us twice and has done an excellent job. He spent a lot of time with me explaining his plan to diagnose the issue and welcomed me to observe his work. After his most recent visit, we think the issue is a simple relay switch instead of a full system replacement, which is what my primary HVAC service company receommended. I am very pleased with Air Solutions.
We have been a customer of air solutions for a number of years. They have always been quick to respond and provided excellent service. Last September a problem with our cooling system (ac/heat pump) resulted in a fairly costly repair.Our service person told us that our system was well past its life expectancy, and should be replaced. We received an estimate for replacing the entire system. After recovering from sticker shock we decided to put it off until spring and gather other bids.This January our system died. Reviewing our bids and reading company reviews we opted to stick with air solutions, even though they weren’t the lowest price.We are happy that we did. The installation occurred just days after a large snowstorm and at the outset of a bone chilling cold snap. Mentally I did not see how they were going to be able to install.Their team of 4 arrived at 8 AM and completed by 4pm with the new system successfully installed and operating.The installers were pleasant and upbeat even in the harsh conditions. Half of the team dug away the snow and removed the old unit and pad. At the same time the other half removed the air handler from our third floor storage area. They were careful with the interior of our house laying down drop cloths along the entire path to the third floor.Following the installation they vacuumed after they removed the drop cloths.The icing on the cake was 18 months interest free financing.While no one likes spending a chunk of money on home repairs, their professionalism, politeness, and quality of work soften the blow.We would recommend them without hesitation
I have an issue with our heating system when I was out of town and they sent a tech very quickly to diagnose and fix the issue. Pricing was reasonable. Everyone I interacted with from dispatch / office to tech was great. Highly recommend especially considering the wide variety of quality in HVAC companies out there.
Air Solutions did a fantastic job. They did a mid-December emergency installation of a new HVAC system and attached it to the existing ductwork. They were very professional, on time, efficient and neat. Calvin was great. The whole team put in a long day and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. Air Solutions was great and a pleasure to work with. They are my HVAC company now and forever. Highly recommended them.
