We had an electric air source heat pump and air handler installed by Greenfoot Energy Solutions earlier this year. After shopping around and getting multiple quotes, theirs came out the most thorough and competitive. I like that they work with a variety of brands, unless some smaller HVAC companies who may only specialize in one or two. The installation process and the electrician and HVAC crew were great. Very efficient but also friendly. The installation took about a day and a half and they made sure to check with me if they had any issues. Overall, I would recommend! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars, is I didn't receive any communication for a while after one of their sales people came for the initial assessment and estimate. I wasn't sure who else to follow up with. Eventually I heard from someone, but then I heard from someone else and it felt a bit confusing. But they had everything in their files and also took care of the rebate without any hassle.

Greenfoot recently installed a new gas water heater and HVAC system in my detached home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were one of four companies I obtained quotes from, and their professionalism stood out from the very first conversation. Before even talking numbers, they took the time to understand the layout of my house and plan the installation in a way that minimized disruption to both the exterior and interior walls. Their quote was competitive, but it was their attention to detail and clear expertise that convinced me they were the right choice. They even went the extra mile to accommodate my situation by installing the gas water heater first, allowing me to use hot water right away without having to wait for the rest of the HVAC equipment to arrive. That level of flexibility and customer focus is rare. Special kudos to Mo, Ro, Wyatt, and Harv for their professionalism, skill, and quality workmanship; to Dylan for navigating city permit requirements and finding practical solutions; and to Justin for his outstanding coordination, assigning work in the most efficient way possible. Every step was handled with care, precision, and clear communication. I will absolutely be using Greenfoot for ongoing maintenance, and I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a top-tier HVAC team.

Thank you to the great services from Sukh, Jason, Mo and Ro. This installation team was very professional. I had my heat pump installed by them on Jan.17-20, 2025 and everything went better than I expected. They were extremely careful with everything in my house and let me know ahead of time what they will do next. I was especially happy when Sukh figured out way to install the pipes without cutting my drywall ceiling. Overall experience is excellent. As for the Napoleon dual heat pump, it is running great so far. My gas bill went down quite a bit but my electricity bill went up. Maybe it's because of my new EV charger. I have to figure this out and see.

We chose Greenfoot Energy to complete blown-in attic insulation as well as a new hatch door for our attic space. It was not a good experience at all. We thought by choosing a company that is located across Canada that we would be getting a high quality product done by professionals. What should have been a 1 day installation turned into 6 visits from Greenfoot Energy. Visit 1 - The major concern we experienced was the quality of the hatch door. It was supposed to be an insulated attic hatch with weather stripping. What we got was a piece of wood with large gaps around it. There was no weather stripping or insulation on the door. The screws for the hinges were sticking out of the wood. The secondary concern was the damage to the wall from the insulation blower.There was no care when they were dragging the hose through our home. Visit 2 - We made our concerns known and they sent a supervisor to inspect the work done. When the supervisor came by he indicated that there was no ventilation and that additional insulation would be added to top up behind the dam. He also said that there should be some foam core attached to the back of the door to add some insulation. Visit 3 - Install team 2 HOURS LATE - When I asked the installer about the concerns the supervisor noted, they stated that the supervisor was not educated on attic insulation and was incorrect in his observations. On this visit the installer did not have the tools available to complete the work so they would have to come back. Visit 4 - Install team 1 HOUR LATE - The installer "fixed" the door that was installed. There was still no foam backing on the door, and the gasket they installed fell off within an hour of installation. Visit 5 - I had asked that the installer not return to our home because I did not trust the quality of the work being done. The Regional operations manager came by to fix the door. I appreciated that he heard our concerns and that they were wanting to rectify the situation. Unfortunately after a few hours, it was determined that they could not provide the product that was originally promised in the proposal. They contrated the work out to a third party. Visit 6 - This person was contracted by Greenfoot to complete the work. He had the skills necessary to complete the work within the scope of the proposal and we are happy with the outcome. We finally have gained back the use of our attic after weeks of constantly moving things in and out of the storage area. The inconvenience with having to be home for 5 additional days, taking time out of my personal life to be there for these appointments has been very disappointing. After making my concerns known to the Regional Manger they applied an additional $200 discount on our invoice. $200 discount for 5 additional days of making myself available seemed cheap and trivial. I guess my time is not worth much. I am disappointed in this whole experience and I would caution my family and friends from choosing Greenfoot Energy.

We recently had Abe from Green Foot Energy come and spray foam a modular home for us and we would highly recommend him! Abe and his helpers, Harvin and John, were professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. The installation was quick, clean, and very well done.
