We had a fantastic experience with Lochridge-Priest! Our AC stopped cooling, and they were able to get someone out to us the same day. Our technician, Jay, was incredible. He identified the issue immediately and had our home cooling down within 30 minutes. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything. Dave performed maintenance on my heat pump/ a/c and showed me pictures of rusting parts and leakage. Dave patiently explained all the options for my older until. Kenneth and Lane were professional, polite, diligent and hardworking. They installed a new a/c until (one part in my attic - 3rd floor!), which was no easy task! I never heard them complain. Tyler, a plumber for Lochridge Priest, responded to our home to fix a rusted pipe on our water heater. Tyler was knowledgeable & efficient & did a great job. He even stuck around to make sure all of the faucets in our house were clear of sediment & flowing the way they are supposed to. Even though the price seemed kind of excessive, I was pleased with the completed work.
I’d seen and heard good things about Lochridge, so I decided to give them a shot since I needed some maintenance on my A/C unit. The technician was friendly and they responded quick enough. However, the technician did not know what he was doing. Unfortunately, I do not know a lot about A/C units, so I was trusting the “professionals”. I was not at home, so my wife had to deal with the tech, and we had to communicate over the phone. I was told I did not have an “access point” to flush out the system, so the tech would need to “make one” and that would cost $200. I will say the tech did give us the option of doing it then or not, but I was already being charged $100 for him coming out. I trusted the “expert” and had him do the job to make sure my A/C was in good condition.When I finally had time to sit down and research my A/C unit and what I had, I quickly realized I had an “access point” all along, and the parts were all right there on the unit. (See pictures). Needless to say, I was ripped off and am out nearly $300 dollars for something I already had and could’ve done myself.If you need A/C work look elsewhere. Lochridge does not hire people that know what they are doing.The photo shows the “T” fitting that cost nearly “$200”.
