[UPDATED]A rep from the lawn care came and saw me, and we talked about what had gone wrong.He apologized and told me that I had slipped through the cracks and that it was his fault, and no one else's.I told him that I blame the crew that did the damage, because they could have come to me and let me know of the damage. While I would want the Lawn Service to cover the cost, as least I would have been told about it. If that were the case, I would not have dropped their service.At the end, I got the check, and let the manager know that come next year, I might pick their service back up.[END UPDATE]I started using Augusta Lawn Care Service because I was told they were very good and punctual. At first, yes, they were. I had them do a few jobs for me, and they did very good work. I won't deny that.What I don't like is that they damaged the siding on my house, and broke some decorative mulch barriers that went around my flag pole.I took pictures, called Augusta Lawn Care and told them what had happened. I was asked to send in th pictures (which I did) and was assured someone would get in touch with me.Two weeks later, no call.So, I called again, was reassured I would get a call back, and - as the saying goes, crickets could be heard because no one called back.I called a third time and told them if I do not recieve a call by the end of business that day, I would be canceling my service contract.You guessed it - no call.I asked that the owner of the company please call me: NOTHING.I can't do business with a company that treats their customers so poorly when something goes wrong. If they had simply returned my call, talked to me, and we got this worked out, no issues, I would have stayed with them. But if the owner and job site managers don't feel the need to contact customers, then I don't feel the need to give them my money.I know I'm just a peaon in their little circle of clients, but hopefully this will get someone's attention and also to warn others that if you want customers service, find someone else, because Augusta Lawn Care won't give you either. They'll take your money, do their job, but if one of their crews screws up - forget about getting a return call. It won't happen.
