My car got blocked in by the snow storm, and I had no way of removing it. It seemed silly to call, but I don’t own a shovel and my apartment complex claimed they couldn’t help me. I messaged this company at around 10:20 AM, and 15 minutes later they called me telling me they were there. Garrett Butel only took ~5 minutes to shovel the snow and then plow it away. He told me I didn’t owe him anything since he was “headed home for the day and lived nearby”, but I of course still paid him something. They are quick, efficient, and understanding. Definitely recommend this company and Garrett!
I was fairly happy with their service last year. My husband and I had weekly mowing, and had them fill in dirt after we had foundation work done. We were happy, and engaged their services to mow and trim for us this season. But this year, service has been poor. We had to beg for our first mow, and then two weeks went by with no service. Our lawn looks dreadful.This past Thursday I called and asked if we would be getting mowed, and I was told we were on the schedule for that day. Nothing. On Friday I called and I was told we were on the schedule. Again, nothing. Then I received an email with excuses as to why we didn't receive service, and that we would be mowed on Monday.I was understanding that they had delays due to weather, and in getting help from visa workers. But I cannot abide being lied to.
I am totally happy with this service. The price is more than fair and they do a great job mowing. They also cleaned up my backyard last year and did a wonderful job! Couldn’t be happier!
If I could rate this company as a “zero,” I would definitely do so. I was in the process of growing new grass and they kept trampling on it. Most recently, they tried to mow when it was obviously too wet (it poured the night before) and gouged holes in my yard and tore up/trampled parts of the new grass I had been growing. They then came out to “fix” their mistake after I had already fixed it and they ended up spreading straw on top of what I had already done. I had to go back and remove that straw. They also threw seed all over my yard without securing it. Its to wash away the next time it rains. One mistake was enough, but me having to go back and fix their “handiwork” a second time was absolutely infuriating. As if all that weren’t enough, they left the rusty wires from the straw in my yard too.IF THIS COMPANY HASNT ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED, THEY ARE FIRED EFFECTIVE TODAY.EDIT: (response to owner) I was a customer of this company. Ten months ago. I’m still thankful I broke up with them. If you are looking for competent lawn care, I recommend Poehlmanns. Definitely not these turkeys.
We reached out to the Mow-It-Alls to do some hardscaping and drainage corrections in our backyard. They were very quick to respond to my inquiry, setting an appointment, and giving me an estimate on labor and cost. The crew that came out was extremely polite and would ask us questions if there was a concern that came up doing the work vs just deciding what should be done an hoping we were okay with it.
