We recently had the opportunity to work at Elite Lawn and Landscape while completing some repair work, and they were outstanding hosts throughout the entire process. Overall, our experience with Elite Landscaping was good. They graded and sodded our back and front yard. I recommend you be home, especially during the initial phase before sod is installed if not the whole time. I kept close watch and communicated grading needs and other needs of project to ensure everything was completed as expected. They put down a very light layer of top soil. We are happy with how the sod was put down and so far the sod seems to be doing well. However they sodded over our water meter and one marked sprinkler head which they came back and fixed. They could have done a better job of cleaning up after the project. The staff was nice to work with as well.
Elite did a great job with their new turf paint! We didn't realize how brown & dead our lawn was until they came out & sprayed. It looks amazing & sticks out in our neighborhood vs. everyone else’s brown lawn! Highly recommended & very affordable! Thank you!
Our experience with the project manager Julio and crew - Rafael and crew was amazing. Rafael was super accommodating and let us know what he was doing every step of the way. Very clean and amazing work. Julio was amazing too, always checked up on us and check progress/quality of work. After some disconnect and confusion from the sale, Matt and David came out promptly and addressed what may have gone wrong. My wife and I greatly appreciate this gester, it’s very clear that Elite cares about how their clients feel even after the job. Not many companies, if any, do that. Thank you for making it right. Would definitely use them again!
Update: Our initial experience was disappointing, but the company did follow up and took steps to make it right. The manager called after seeing this review, scheduled the crew to return first thing Thursday (the next day) morning, and ensured the job was completed at no extra charge beyond the discounted invoice. We appreciate their effort and follow-through.Original Review: Everything started off great — the quote was fair, scheduling was quick, and the service included mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing. A one-day delay due to rain wasn’t an issue. The real problem came when the crew showed up late Friday afternoon, right after a heavy downpour, and spent about 20 minutes on the yard. (we did not have the opportunity to interact with the crew at all). The job was rushed and left grass clumps all over, weeds untouched, and grass blown onto our fence and cars.We reached out right away with photos and asked if this met their standard. They agreed it did not. I got a call the following Monday and was asked how they could make it right. I suggested adjusting the price or sending someone back to finish the job, and was told a crew would be out that week. Later that day, I received an invoice for the full amount and asked again when to expect the team — I was told they’d be there Tuesday.Tuesday came and went with no update. I called just before closing and was told I was “on the list” for a callback about rain delays — even though it hadn’t rained since Friday, and I had been told just the day before they were coming. At that point, it was clear the communication was lacking and the situation wasn’t being handled well.By Wednesday, there was still no follow-up. When I finally spoke to a manager, they seemed unaware of the situation and offered EITHER a reduced invoice or to come finish the job — but at that point, the way the whole situation had been handled felt unprofessional and frustrating.I ended up paying the discounted invoice and canceling the service altogether. What started as a small issue could have been easily resolved with better communication and accountability, but instead left us feeling like we weren’t valued as customers.** That said, I do want to acknowledge and appreciate the manager’s call after this review was posted, as it showed a willingness to take responsibility and make things right. I really respect when a company follows through on their commitment to customer satisfaction.
