I am so happy with the work done at my home by Brad and his team. I had a path put in my front and back yards and some steps on my sloped side yard. They did a fantastic job. Brad was easy to communicate with by email before and during the project. His crew did great quality work and they took great care of my property- sweeping up any displaced mulch, re-winding my hose after they used it. I highly recommend them!

These folks are the best! Family run landscape & hardscape co., Native Durhamites, very knowledgeable, great suggestions for shady areas, plants looked very healthy and the communication with all staff was excellent. The yard was overgrown with years of weeds & invasive ground cover, they cleaned that all up & did a ton of pruning all shrubs and removing dead plants.
They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! So now we do our part, watering and getting those plants through the winter. We will do more with them in the spring! Just planted last week, so it will all look better in the spring as they get bigger.

Just had our paver stone patio, extensive french drain, and concrete driveway extension completed by Bradley and we are very happy! Yosef and his crew with Valiente Hardscape worked diligently even in the NC summer heat to get our job done within a little over a week, and I can't thank them enough for their craftsmanship and diligent work ethic. I'd highly recommend this company and their contractor to anyone looking for high-quality, insured, and guaranteed hardscaping and drainage work.

Carolina Garden Company is awesome! They have created landscaping miracles, built out our patio with pavers, knee wall and a pergola. Brad visited our home a few times to ensure that his drawings matched our needs because he wanted to make us happy.

Their workers are amazing and neat and polite. They were so appreciative thst we offered them water and pizza for lunch !

Shelley, Brad, and their team are amazing!! We moved into our house last year, and as a new build there was no landscaping other than grass and a few sad holly bushes. Shelley came in and helped us design a beautiful yard in both the front yard (along the entry way and mailbox), helped us hide ugly utility boxes, and in the back yard recommended trees and bushes to create both an upper garden and a lower garden. Throughout the planning, Shelley helped us identify both native plants to NC that would do well in our climate, but also helped find plants that met our needs and desires (novice gardeners who wanted low maintenance, colorful plants). Shelley also was very respectful of our budget and made sure to choose plants and sizes of plants that we could afford, but still providing high impact spaces. We did run into some drainage issues on one side of our house (near the swell and utilities). Brad helped us design a french drain system that would remediate our drainage issues at an affordable price. With the fix, Shelley was able to complete the landscape plan to hide the utility boxes. Also, Shelley helped us spruce up our sad window boxes to make design pop! Throughout the process, Shelley was very responsive to phone calls, emails, and texts. She also took the time to explain things to us and listen to our concerns about plant/tree heights and widths and how it would look in our yard when they were fully grown. It is refreshing to work with someone who is creative, listens to the client, and gets the job done well. I hope that we are able to work with her again in the future!!
