We just completed about a one acre xeriscape transformation from grass to native plants and grasses. The end result is stunning, on budget and exceeded our expectations in all aspects of the project.

We drew up design plans late in the winter with Chris Meglens and he allowed for many revisions (without extra costs) as he took the time to learn about the native plants we liked and guided us on what would work best our yard. He patiently waited for the right time and the right weather to start the project. Once it was time to go the efficiency was amazing. Ground prep was mostly done in one day. He checked in often to make sure everything was being placed where we wanted it and continued to provide his expert opinion on the direction he felt things should go.

We have an existing irrigation system and one of the best aspects of the project was Chris’ reprogramming of our inefficient and wasteful system into a precision watering machine !!

Meglens Waterwise Landscaping is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with in terms of price, responsiveness, and quality of work. I give them the highest recommendation I can give a company in all aspects of their scope of work. I have included a few photos of the finished results that I am sure will only get more beautiful as the plants mature.

Chris and his crew were a great choice for our project! Chris was an excellent communicator, knows his trade incredibly well and manages his team in an efficient and well coordinated way. They got in and got out over 5 days as promised, had minimal disruption to us and our neighbors and stayed on budget.The degree of team work demonstrated by his crew was truly remarkable. Chris is very personable, unassuming and offered suggestions for plants and landscape design but clearly made us feel that decisions were ours to make. He established trust and credibility with us from the start and only later did we know that he has a Horticulture degree from CSU. We highly recommend him!

Chris and the Meglen's team were a pleasure to work with! Our job was completed about a month earlier than originally estimated - and all of the work was completed efficiently in 4 days, minimizing noise and disruption. Chris took the time to listen to our needs and develop a plan that was both cost effective and visually appealing. His expert knowledge of plants helped us to select a variety that will provide us with a yard full of color and interest all summer long. We would work with Meglen's again for our next project.

We are so happy with our new front yard created and installed by Meglen's Waterwise Landscapes. Chris is great to work with and his team is efficient and courteous. It was amazing to watch their teamwork. The job was completed in just two days!! Even better are the results a month later... the perennials are all blooming!! Just lovely.
