I’m extremely unhappy with my community’s decision to change to change Estate Landscaping last year. They are worse than the company we had previously. Lawns look horrible, scrubs badly trimmed. Yesterday they completely destroyed the large bed of orange Heliconia in front of my home using a hedge trimmer as if the were that!!! They are shredded and all blooms removed. I just spoke to the supervisor, Alberto in my neighborhood. I couldn’t have cared less when I found him in the front talking to neighbor. He refused to come to my home. He instructed me instead to go to their website to submit a request/ complaint. This tells me there must be too many unhappy customers in my community for him to deal with. I just called the office and spoke to Jackie, who was nice and said she would send a message to Alberto, the account manager for our neighborhood (Wild Blue Vista). I will update this review when I have something additional to share.Update:Wed. 1-14-26.Alberto came by my house about an hour ago and we discussed best option to restore my Heliconia. I requested he cut them to ground level so it will grow back without all the unsightly shredding damage from the hedge trimmers. (These tropical flowering plants require hand trimming, which I always do myself a few times a year). An hour later, Alberto brought by a team of 3 men, and they completed removing the tops, as requested in about 15 minutes. He was very professional and apologized for the mistake. He did suggest that I put a blue reflective light stick in the bed to alert his teammates not to cut the plants, as they have instructed others residents. I declined to agree to this because I don’t want an unsightly item sticking out of my flower bed. I suggested it would be better he teach his staff the difference between hedges and flowers that get hand trimmed. I appreciate the care Alberto took to correct the problem.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I WISH WE COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS BECAUSE THEY DON'T DESERVE EVEN 1 STAR!!!! We were ripped off. They laid new sod, and it died 3 times, and now they refuse to give me a refund. Tried telling me that they dug drainage when I already had the gullies in front of my house. They are unprofessional, and my lawn looks worse than before they did their "work". Their crews have absolutely no idea of how to take care of lawns and our common areas look horrible as well. You would think that because the owners live in the community, they would make sure things were pristine, but they don't care; it's all about the money and not the work. their irrigation crew broke my sprinkler heads and charged me to replace them and then added a zone and charged me more for the one zone than it cost me to have the entire system installed a year ago. Now I have t hire an attorney to try and get my money back!!! Stay away from this company. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!!
By far the absolute worst. They raised our HOA fees over $200 a month for this group. I have dead grass, weeds, my husband fell in a sprinkler box they ran over and didn't replace the lid. We have to trim all our own bushes and trees. They had me pay $400 to replace a patch of sod in the front of the house because they couldn't fix the problem. Now, dead grass and weeds are spreading all over the yard- behind the lanai. His answer- 'we don't have the time or resources to address your problem' we only get so much time per community and we don't have time for your problem. I would give a negative 50 star if I could.
We use Estate as our vendor for our apartment complex and they have been great. We recently had Freddy take over as our representative and he does a great job. He is timely, follows up, and has great attention to detail. Very happy to be working with him.
Unfortunately the rating system does not allow for ZERO stars, otherwise Estate would have been graded accordingly. When awarded the contract in our community, they were not well received, because of the higher cost for service. Supposedly they brought more expertise, which would in time save us all money in repair and/or replacement. I was willing to be patient, but instead became a victim of their superior knowledge. They claimed our hibiscus plants needed to be routinely hard pruned, to remain healthy and stimulate growth. After several weeks, five of my hearty blooms were dormant. I asked for immediate consultation and their representative took no responsibility for the current condition. When asked if they will replace, if now dead he said only what Estate plants. Being a phase one resident in Watermark (Fort Myers) I enjoyed 7 years of colorful, healthy and beautiful flowering shrubs. This is NOT coincidence and expecting the homeowner to shoulder the expense does not demonstrate sound business sense, or any attempt at good will. They will definitely cite company policy, when it is convenient and puts their customer at a disadvantage. I can only hope this review will discourage others, from considering their hidden agenda, to charge more and do less.
