I have used Look Out Landscaping for fall and spring yard cleanup and have always been happy with the work .This year I decided to hire them for snow removal services. Yesterday and today was our first major dump of snow. I could not believe it when I looked outside this morning at 5:00 a.m. and saw Lookouts crew of four efficient hard working people tackling a dump of snow that would have taken me all day to clear.I am very grateful that I did not have to call and ask when they would send someone....they were on it before my a.m. coffee was finished brewing.This made my day in more ways than one. My driveway and sidewalks are clear and ready for the contractor I have coming today!!Great job. More than pleased.
This is the WORST company, highly recommend NOT using them. I had the worker here for under an hour with cameras proving this. The employee said he would charge 1 hour for being here and shook my hand. When I got my bill, they charged me for an hour and a half visit. When I called them about it, they were extremely rude and hung up on me! When I called back to speak to the owner the woman I spoke with was very hostile. When I mentioned the cameras though, her tune changed. She said she'd look into it, called me back shortly and changed her mind. I mentioned that I'm sure I'm not the first person this has happened to. Sure wish I would have looked at their Google reviews before booking them. This company is labour gouging and NOT honest. Call anywhere else for your landscaping needs.
Lookout was very responsive to my preferences and provided excellent customer service. They removed all of the weeds and installed landscape fabric and gravel on two properties for me. I am very happy with the results!
The word professional doesn't mean the same thing to me as it does to this company. What landscaping company doesn't have a grass catching bag on their lawn mower. This one doesn't, and left furrows of cut grass on the lawn. The one older lady did an awesome job weeding and cutting back branches, albeit slower than it should have taken her. The list of less than professional work as follows:- 2 people had to take the debris tarp to the dump. Why?- one girl I found did a lot of standing around watching the other two workers, and raked as slow as molasses- why would you weed whack the same area that had just been done by a co-worker?- who blows leaves off a gravel driveway when the leaves are still falling while they are doing this?My issues are very valid as both my daughter and SIL are professional and certified landscapers who have their own company at the Coast, and who were disgusted at the slowness of raking and weeding, and appalled at the standing around of one particular worker. On top of that, this company charged twice as much as they would have realistically charged for the same service at the Coast where they can charge higher rates. Their professionalism is evident in every job they do! So no I would not recommend this company to anyone...they are not the professionals they claim to be, nor do they perform professionally, or perhaps this type of work is now the new standard for professionalism. Either way, we were not impressed!!!
I have a small for year old Peach tree that I hired look out to prune as I had never pruned a tree and was unsure the process . I hired look out they told me they would be there at 8:00 in the morning and that they charged $55 an hour for one person. I assumed that they would only send one person as the tree is very small and I attached a photo of said tree in my email communication with them. 2 people showed up at 824 as times damped on on my security camera one man on his cell phone at the start snipped the tiniest branches off of my tree while the 2nd senior man stood around to catch the tiny little pieces as they fell and put them in the truck(a total of maybe a shoebox was collected).. They finished and left at 8:40 . I get a phone call asking asking about the bill which they sent to an incorrect email so I asked them what the total of the bill was and I was told a $115. I said there is no way for 15 minutes of work as recorded on my cameras was it going to cost a $115.. We will see how the conversation goes when I receive a phone call from someone of authority in the company to discuss this absurd amount For the most minimal amount of work.. I will change my Google Review with an update when I have one.i have posted a before and after photo.
