Customer reviews frequently mention quick arrival and fast unlocks. However, many reviewers report pricing concerns, including differences between initial phone quotes and final invoices, as well as high costs after short service times. Several comments note communication issues around estimates and fees. Prospective customers often suggest confirming written pricing before work begins.

The tech returned my call quickly, and quoted at LEAST $50. Once he arrived and opened the door in under 60 seconds, he reveals that the cost is over $300 after tax. If you decide you don't want to pay, an $85 dispatch fee is requested and then they want to LOCK THE KEY BACK in the car because the dispatch fee is not the service fee. I was trying to beat a quote from another business that $130-$160 (which I should have taken, in hindsight).

Long story short, this business is playing a dangerous game with price gouging, and deceptive pricing. At the end of the day though, I got my key and did not pay $300+. Be safe.

DO NOT USE THEM. I was told on the phone it would cost $50 for a basic car lock service. Guy was polite and had it done in 2 minutes. Then gave me a bill for $421. Leveraging someone’s stressful situation to your benefit by LYING ABOUT THE COST is bad business. If I don’t hear back from your “head technician” and receive a refund by end of day, I’ll be reporting you on BBB. Called the police already and they said they get complaints about you ALL the time.

Worst experience ever. NEVER REACH OUT TO THESE PEOPLE. I have reached out to them as i have got locked out of my car with my keys inside. The locksmith arrived and told me it would cost 50bucks. But later after unlocking the car he said it is 380 bucks.I could get a new car key from the showroom for that price. This is literally looting us.

Was charged $800 for a 4 hour wait to get my car opened. it took him 5 seconds to get it opened. he then grabbed my behind and when i asked his name he either gave me a fake one or the company lied when i called to report it. i wish i could give 0 stars. DO NOT CALL HERE. honestly a disgusting operation that needs to be shut down. Truly hope this place goes out of business.

I 100% do not recommend this company. My parents broke a tiny piece of their door latch and called this locksmith to replace it. They were told a technician would come within an hour. The technician came 2 hours later and replaced the entire door latch with a standard cheaper door latch instead of the dead latch my parents requested. The technician was nice and replaced it quickly (2 minutes) but my parents were never quoted a price and the technician didn’t ask if $286 was okay before replacing it.
Of course my parents paid the outrageous price. They called later to see if he could come back and replace it with the proper piece they asked for and they were thrown around to about 3 different people on the phone ALL DAY.
This honestly makes me think of senior fraud except for the fact that there are tons of reviews that say the same exact thing about outrageous prices that are not up front.
I later talked with a friend who said she had 4 latches and door knobs replaced at her house my gem city locksmiths for $189. Go with them!!
I never leave a bad review unless I have tried to remedy the situation first…. The only way I would take this down is if the locksmiths take back their latch and give a refund as requested.
