I was trying to install a French door lock but not sure how. First went to the Home Depot and they said they don’t carry flush bolts lock. I asked them when they would have they said don’t know. Then I came to Lowe’s. A gentleman came Steve was super helpful. He asked me patiently what exactly I needed to do. Then he gave me the advice of how to do it. Even more he helped me to choose the right power tool for the job! I’m very happy with what we installed. Two thumbs up to Steve for the professional knowledge and super friendly service !
None of these keys worked. It was cheap and I have asked for a refund so if all goes well I will give them another shot and change my review. So far I have not been contacted by them.
The product works fine, however, the replacement key selection process is a bit deceiving and leads you to believe you can copy a second original key. Instead, you are buying a second key, with one "free".
Lowes tried making 3 new house keys, I also tried Home Depot they all worked on my security gate but not the front door. None of them perfectly matched the one key I did have that worked. On my way out I noticed Minute Key and decided to try one more time to get a key that actually worked. Ta da, a perfect key made in a minute that worked for all the door locks!!
Easy to use for single sided keys. They even do some car keys. House keys are easy and fast. They couldn't copy a safe key. Either too small or double sided. Lowes hardware couldn't do it either.
