Incredible price, quick key duplication, and just an awesome and honest guy. I could not recommend him more.
I lost my keys to my van today. I called several companies to get quotes, but Austin was very responsive and personable on the phone. He gave me a very fair price and made me 2 keys for my van. Im very happy with his service!
Excellent service and very fair pricing for a locksmith. Sometimes these guys want an arm and a leg to fix something that takes 10 minutes. In my case, I needed a passenger door re-keyed on my 2013 Nissan Frontier and a spare key since the dealer I bought it from (used) only gave me one key that worked. My original (working) key was worn down and I didn't have the key code, so it wasn't easy to duplicate. But he got it working after a bunch of trial and error. Really happy with the service and will use him again for sure. Highly recommended!
I contacted this company to help repair a lock on my car door. When I called I was quoted a price of $120 base price +$40 traveling fee to come to my house. Although the lock was adequately fixed (still catches in the lock itself, but at least the car can now open where it wouldn't open before), the locksmith changed his original quote while at my house and says that he quoted a price of $180 (which is not true) when I called the day before. He then upcharged me to $250 at the end of the job (without informing me beforehand), and as he was collecting my credit card information, I noticed that he put in $270 as the final charge. Costs are to be expected when problems occur during a service job, but it is important to be very clear with the customer about what you actually charge so that they can make an informed decision, instead of up charging them by changing your original quote. I called my husband right after this man left and he said that he probably did this because he thought he could get over on a woman. Women beware of this company.Edited to add: When the technician came, he actually kept asking if I was interested in selling my car and that he could give me a good price (which I'm sure is not part of standard policy, was completely unsolicited on my part, was disrespectful/uncalled for, and made me further feel taken advantage of when in an already vulnerable state with my car needing repairs). Furthermore, if an additional cost is necessary, that needs to be communicated to the customer IN ADVANCE before the service is actually PERFORMED so that the customer knows exactly what to expect.UPDATE: A few months later, the key will no longer go into the keyhole of the car lock that they "fixed". This was an utter waste of almost $300. I will now be taking it to the car dealership to get the keyhole properly fixed, which is what I should have done the first time. This company did not save me money, they did a shoddy job, caused a great deal of stress in the process, and the final result is that I have to get it done professionally anyway. This is a valuable lesson for me and (I hope) all that read this review.
Fairly routine repair that was just slightly beyond my amateur handyman abilities. The repair was done quickly and completely with some minor additional routine lock and door maintenance done at no extra charge. The door now operates more smoothly than it has in many years.
