Jason was able to come right away to change my locks after I'd lost my keys, and he did a great job, made sure everything was working properly even on some locks that had frozen up. Very personable, efficient, and reasonable service!
I needed to get copies cut of an unusual 4 sided security key and had trouble finding a locksmith that could complete the task. Most took one look at the key, shook their heads and said no or advised me to try somewhere else. I was running out of options when Tidey Lock & Key was recommended to me.It was a last resort, and I was not overly hopeful, But when I presented the key in question I was not met with an outright no, on the contrary Brandon took the key off me and started to search through his supplier reference catalogues, hard copied not electronic versions, to try and source the key blank from which the key could be cut. After approximately 20 minutes, he had narrowed the search down to a likely candidate, that was the first hurdle. It was coming from the USA with all the associated shipping costs, duties, tarriff's and handling, as well as a 2 week delivery time, but if it did the job, it would be worth it!!2 weeks later I got the call and returned with the key to have it duplicated, an initial trial key was cut which I took to the location to ensure the correct fit before committing to the other 3 copies. It fit like a glove and I called to confirm this and by the time I returned to Tidey the other 3 where ready for collection.The bill was not a small one, with security 4 blanks costing a premium and with the aforementioned shipping, duties, tariff's and handling, as well as the cutting of a 4 sided key, but it fulfilled the required job, and when you need it that is priceless.I would like to thank Brandon for going above and beyond in sourcing and cutting the keys himself, being 4 sided it was complicated and he did not want to entrust the job to a member of his staff as a replacement blank would take weeks to receive.I have nothing but praise for the service and craftsmanship that I received, and Tidey are definitely my choice for lock and key related matters in the future.
