Reviews
What customers say
Several positive reviews praise friendly service and quick assistance with key or lock issues. One customer credits Shawn with diagnosing a door-handle/lock issue and supplying a screw and hex wrench at no cost; another says Shawn and the team got Nissan key programming under control despite security-feature complications. A car-key customer reported that a new key and its programming were done incorrectly, leaving a secondary key with a “teenager lock”; the customer said the shop wanted to charge again to reprogram it.

Had a tremendous experience there earlier this week. I was working on fixing a door handle/lock and just could not find the right type of screw for it at hardware stores. I went in to explain the problem and Shawn was able to diagnose the issue right away then provided me a screw and hex wrench at no cost! I appreciate the level of customer service despite not even making a sale.

Could have sworn I wrote a review of this place. They charged me a decent amount to make a new key for my car and program my car to acknowledge the key. They messed it up and the secondary key ended up with a teenager lock on it. When I asked them to fix their mistake, they told me they would charge me for programming the key again. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

Shawn and team were able to program keys for my Nissan. Had a few bumps because of security features of Nissan, but the team at AA got it under control. They were very friendly and great customer service.

Will recommend this service to all!! Sean and Rich were absolutely exceptional. I had worked with five other local STL companies (yes you heard that right- FIVE), to solve a complex issue for my business, over a span of 4 months with NO resolution. AA Lock and Key was recommended by to us. Sean and Rich repaired the issue from start to finish in less than 2-3 hours. I am bewildered at the quality of service and efficiency. Thank you so much AA Lock and Key!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can AA Key and Lock Services make a key when the original is missing?
In many cases, it can create a new key even when the original is missing; the job may involve decoding a lock, programming a transponder or cutting a new key to factory specifications.
Can AA Key and Lock Services rekey commercial locks without replacing them?
Yes. Its rekeying service changes a lock without replacing its full mechanism, and the new keys work with the existing hardware.
