Some note the kiosk is quick and easy to use, but pricing details like shipping and taxes were not always clear. Feedback suggests the service is convenient for straightforward copies, with mixed results on key fit. Communication about charges and support options could be clearer.
They didn’t work
Key didn’t work at all.
The key me kiosk was easy to use. The initial bill stated 79.99I did not see any screen saying there would be shipping added or taxes added to the 79.99 price quoted. An additional charge 3.99 of shipping and 7.8something for taxes. That would have been fine if disclosed. I must have missed it I can only guess. I may have decided to shop a local Ace Hardware and support my local economy rather than a corporation I am unfamiliar with besides the added risk of USPS postal being stolen, leaving me vulnerable.
The key they copied was not the same as the one they gave me. The ridges were different and I can’t get a refund or a rescan. I’d have to pay another $10 (for hopefully the right key this time) which does feel a bit high tbh. On a positive note, the process was quick and the options were nice. I just wish they gave me the right key
The keys when they were made, did not look like they matched the original, I tried using them on the door anyway, and they still did not work. I need my money back.
