Initially used the kiosk at Walmart on Middle St. The base keys were priced at 5.99. The credit card reader wasn't working (swipe, chip or tap). Attempted all three ways on my own and then again guided by the CSR are at the 800 number. After 20 min she redirected me to the Shaw's next door. That new kiosk was priced 9.99 for the base brass (regular house door) keys. And that doesn't even include the wire wheel buffing the burs off. That's an extra 2.99.
What a mess. Next time I'll just make the time to get it at Home Depot or Frank at the local shop if their open. This was not cheap or convenient. - the keys worked fine with no hang-ups or struggle.

So far so good! My key works great and it was so easy and quick to make! I will definitely use again! As a matter of fact I am waiting for my new car key to come in the mail! Much cheaper than the dealership!

I called KeyMe because I locked myself out of my home & realized it the minute I closed the door. Young women said she would have a technician call me and it would take about 30-45 minutes. Turns out they parcel their work out to other businesses, in this case Locksmith Services. I explained that I was outside w nowhere to go & it was 22 degrees out. By my 4th phone they required my credit card info or they wouldn’t come out.
I waited 3 hrs for someone to finally show up from a company that works with KeyMe called Locksmith Services. In those 3 hrs, I called at least 5 times. When they finally arrived, he looked at the lock & said $220 + 39 for showing up. I got charged $275.
It took this young man with his friend watching, maybe in their late 20’s early 30’s, less than a minute to open my door. It’s called Highway Robbery!!! They know that after a women of 68 years old has been waiting for 3 hrs in 22 degree weather (the last 20 mins in a neighbors home who took pity on me) standing outside in the cold, that she’ll agree to any amount of money. I was shocked and of course these 2 young men didn’t blink an eye. 3 hrs of waiting in the cold & 5 phone calls later and $275 and I’m in my home which took less than a minute. KeyMe should be ashamed of themselves. Bad business and I’m going on Facebook telling the whole world about how they treated me and not to use this business.
