I cannot say enough nice things about the Specialty Moves By Design team of professional ladies. They helped us move my Mom from her home of 56 years to an Independent Living Community. Our Move Manager - Kim, was incredibly organized, kind, patient and helped us understand what to expect throughout the whole process. The team of ladies who packed Mom's belongings were very careful, respectful and caring. SMBD handled everything, even scheduling a mover to come in and pack the house and transport her belongings. I would HIGHLY recommend their services, especially if you were like us...not knowing what to expect. Thank you, again, ladies!

Using Specialty Moves by Design made moving my mom out of her house of 52 years so much less stressful. They packed everything including food from the refrigerator and freezer and cleaning supplies and transported it and put it away in Mom's new apartment. By 4 pm Mom's place was set up and ready to live in. It was wonderful!

I cannot recommend Specialty Moves by Design highly enough. In July, I was suddenly called in to help organize my mother’s move after she became seriously ill and was hospitalized. At that point, she was only at the very beginning of working out the details of her moving plans. I rushed from far away with almost no knowledge of those plans, her daily arrangements, or even the logistics of the move itself.

Specialty Moves by Design rose to the occasion in every possible way. Their flexibility is remarkable: they can either act as a behind-the-scenes coordinator or step in with a fully managed approach, taking care of everything. Very quickly, I realized we needed the latter.

From that moment on, they were proactive, engaged, and consistently one step ahead. Their communication was flawless—they coordinated all the moving parts, kept me updated on every development, and handled every change smoothly. Just as striking was the personal care their team showed, down to the packers who treated my mom’s belongings with real thoughtfulness about how they would be placed in her new home.

I had only three weeks to complete this project, and I truly don’t know how it would have been possible without them. Five stars are simply not enough.
