This was my third move with Two Men & A Truck. I feel they are reasonably priced, and do a good job. They are careful with my furniture and don’t do any damage to the house moving items in or out. They are nice about helping putting furniture together if needed. The guys are always really friendly.
As a company, Two Men and a Truck were professional, and reliable. I would highly recommend them. Our moving team John and Anthony were absolutely fantastic. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were absolutely kind, respectful and highly professional. They moved my elderly Mother from one senior facility to another and they treated everyone around them so nicely. They had to deal with a very inconvenient elevator situation and they handled it with pure professionalism. I’m quite grateful to this company and Anthony and John for making a difficult day go smoothly.
One Star — Unprofessional Service, Incomplete Move, Unauthorized Credit Card ChargeI hired this Two Men and a Truck location to move a few items, including an armoire, from a nearby storage unit back into my home. We have used this company before at another location without issue, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. When the movers arrived, they smelled of marijuana and the lead driver immediately told me I “better tip them well because the company doesn’t pay them shit.” That should have been my first warning. Throughout the move they were careless and dropped items, but I hoped they could at least get the job done since it was a small move. The bigger problem arose when they attempted to move the armoire upstairs in my home. They informed me they didn’t have the equipment or materials to do it, no moving straps, no protective padding, nothing. This is the same armoire this company previously moved from our home to that storage unit, so there was no question it could be done. I called the front desk, and the young woman representative told me she would coordinate with the team and send out what was needed to complete the move. The manager was also contacted but never returned my call, and still hasn’t.Before the movers left, while I was standing in my driveway, I overheard the lead driver making aggressive and threatening comments about payment, “she better pay, this shit ain’t free.” I was home alone with my young children and frankly felt unsafe. I do not know whether these employees underwent background checks, but their conduct was alarming.Because the move was not completed, I refused to sign the completion form. I was told someone would return to finish the job. No one ever did, and instead, this company charged my credit card for a two-hour move, a service they did not complete. The armoire has been sitting in the middle of my foyer for several weeks. When my husband followed up, we were told it would cost an additional $300 for them to return and finish what they originally agreed to do and charged me already for!I am now forced to hire another moving company and pay duplicate fees for the exact service I already paid this company to perform. As an attorney, I understand my options here. As a consumer, I want others to know: this location’s movers were unprofessional, came unprepared, and the company has failed to honor its obligations or respond appropriately to a legitimate complaint. I would strongly caution anyone considering this location to think twice.
I had the absolute BEST moving experience thanks to Justin and Bryan from Two Men and a Truck! From the very beginning, both of them showed the highest level of professionalism, kindness, and respect. Moving can be stressful, but they made the entire process smooth, efficient, and even enjoyable. What stood out most was how careful and respectful they were with all of my belongings. They treated every box and piece of furniture as if it were their own, making sure nothing was scratched, damaged, or mishandled. I really appreciated the way they communicated with me throughout the move — double-checking placement, asking thoughtful questions, and making sure everything ended up exactly where I wanted it in my new apartment. On top of that, Justin and Bryan were so considerate of my budget and time. They worked quickly but never carelessly, showing that they valued both my time and money. They were upfront, honest, and efficient, which gave me peace of mind during a process that is usually overwhelming. Not only were they hardworking, but they were also kind, polite, and genuinely positive. Their upbeat attitudes made the move feel much less stressful. By the time everything was unloaded, I felt like I had been helped by two trustworthy friends rather than just a moving crew.If you’re looking for movers who are dependable, respectful, and truly go above and beyond, I cannot recommend Justin and Bryan enough. They are a shining example of what customer service should be, and I am so thankful they were the team who helped me with my move!-Toya K.
Worst move of our life. We have moved with two men and a truck before and went with them a second time hoping to have the same experience as the first time. They quit literally throw everything in the truck, they didn’t wrap or tie any thing down. They damaged my antique which is irreplaceable, huge scraps on our table. They broke the top of the dresser. I have so far 7 pieces of furniture that are damaged. I haven’t even opened a box. They took an hour long break even though they were on hourly. I could have hired some college guys on the cheap and they would have done a better job. Do not recommend.
