This is an outstanding company. I had another company stand me up just a couple of days before I was suppose to move. Five Star saved the day! They were able to get the job done on a time crunch. Their team sure knows what they are doing. They took very good care of all of my belongings and were very careful no matter the size or how fragile the belonging was. I will be recommending this business to any and everyone that plans on hiring a moving company! Thank you 5 Star!
Used Five Star Moving recently for moving into my new apartment. Can’t talk enough about how pleased i was with their services. The customer service was amazing starting with the boss Jody who explained the whole process. And the moving crew did an excellent job would recommend them to anyone i know.
We had used 5 star moving 3 times before and it was fantastic. Recommened them. Not this time! After it was too late, we found out it had been sold. Do not use these people! They did not tie down our furniture or wrap it in the truck. The workers argued with us. When it arrived, our bedroom suit was ruined, the legs were broken on our commercial refrigerator, a cabinet broken into pieces, I guess from the commercial refrigerator sliding around on everything, boxes of glass crushed. A nightmare. And don't think you will get an insurance claim!
They were complaining from the get go and throughout. Huge under-estimation of our things and truck did not fit, although the owner is coming tomorrow to finish up moving things. Ignored several requests to wear shoe covers and got mud spots on our brand new carpet. All this led to a very stressful experience on top of moving stress. Our stuff was literally strewn everywhere instead neatly unloaded (except in 2 areas, to be fair). Our mattress in the master bedroom was not appropriately re-installed and inflated (sleep number). They did assemble 2 extra beds at our request, though. I have attached a more detailed recall of events for anyone interested and this was written within 2 hours of their departure so events were still fresh in my head.Update:Received a call @ 9:27 pm after I posted this review from the owner of the company harassing and yelling at me for placing this review and trying to escalate things with me. He had offered to come tomorrow to finish moving my stuff to help resolve the issues I mentioned and I told him that I can and would update the review should we reach a satisfactory resolution. However, he would not have it and started blaming me for all the problems today so I hung up. Bringing over the rest of the stuff would have solved one of today’s issues but would not have addressed the rest. Perhaps taking my complaints more seriously and addressing all the issues I posted with me would have been a better approach than yelling at me on a very stressful day. Reviews are not set. But what do I know.
