Great experience from start to finish… truck arrived as scheduled, delivered to the destination across country on time and the communication was good throughout. Would definitely recommend Upack and use them again!
Both ends of our move were very smooth as far as truck delivery and pick up. Kevin was a whiz at getting the truck leveled on the driveway. All employees were very pleasant to deal with. Thank you!
I choose U-Pack to move as a suggested option after searching to PODS to move in my area. U-Pack was a cost effective alternative so I decided to move forward with them. Customer service through the entire process was excellent. The trailer arrived on time and was picked up according to the schedule. Delivery to our new location was faster than estimated. I needed to schedule delivery with our newer storage location and the driver was on time, maintained communication and was friendly and professional. All in all, this was a great experience and I would use their services again. The one downside is that you're loading your items on a semi trailer that's about 4-5 feet off the ground. You are supplied with a long ramp, however, heavy items can be challenging to load even with a dolly.
We used U-Pack for a move from Montana to Maryland. The trailer was dropped off at our origin and destination as scheduled and was easy to track while in transit. The pricing and instructions for preparing for the move were straightforward. The drivers and those we talked to on the phone were nice and helpful. Although it was a little anxiety-provoking when the origin destination didn't have any information on our move until a few days before it was scheduled!
Our move was 1,000 miles. We used 19 feet and it cost $2,300 plus $500 for one month's storage. I explored lots of dates and options over several phone calls to get that price. The one-way self-drive options were not cheaper after accounting for fuel costs (trucks only get 10-12 mpg). Plus I would have had to arrange storage, unpack into storage and out of it again. So, although $500 seems a lot on first glance for 1 month storage, it was easily worth it for us because it saved so much time: our belongings stayed packed as we packed them in the same trailer for one month. This was by far the best option for our circumstances. Even if we didn't need the storage, U-Pack was still the best option.Very happy with all staff we spoke to. Very smooth drop off and pick up at both ends. Have no hesitation in highly recommending.
