Had to pay over twice what they quoted us for, completely broke my $400 dresser (their insurance is so awful that they wouldn’t even cover 10% of the cost), they took almost 3 hrs to move a 8x10 storage unit of items into the truck, they drove around for an hour trying to find our apartment and ignored our phone calls trying to direct them to the right location, it was someone’s first day and they were useless and the move took all day, they complained the whole time about how “hard” we were working them even though we provided them with ample refreshments and my friends and I were helping them and working just as hard. They are lazy and a waste of money. Do not use this company. I wish I could get my money back for at least my broken dresser. Spend the extra money to go with a company that is actually good.
An employee named Josh just hung up the phone on me because his boss booked our easy move on the same day (a bed, TV and dresser) and he said he didn’t have time. He took his anger out on me. I called back again to try and book a different date and he hung up on me again. I will spread the word far and wide to everyone I know and I know a lot of people in Columbia unless someone moves me as promised. I have everything in the driveway ready to go. What a disaster. If this company keeps their promise I will edit this review. They took my $500 for 2 hour move, it has already been charged and they just said they are not coming
I booked a move, gave a deposit and was ready to roll.Morning of the scheduled move I am waiting to here from my movers and did not hear anything. I tried calling the office a bunch of times, Finally heard back from somebody and he told me there was a miscommunication and they will not be able to move us today! Which is crazy. He said he would give me a call back when confirmed, never got a call back.I called again a little later (this is still morning of my moving day) and the nice lady that answered the phone said that they will be able to have a crew come! I had booked a 3 man crew she said they only had a 2 man crew which was fine with me.About a hour later, I get another call from someone else in the company telling me that they cannot come today, He was not sure why the lady on the phone told us they have a crew but he said there is no way they can get a crew out to us.On the day of our move they cancelled on me completely.We had to do the entire move by ourselves last minute.Absolutely insane! So unprofessional. I have never had a situation like this with any other company.I will never be doing business with All My Sons Moving ever again and I would highly advise the same to all.
Very best movers I have ever encountered! DeShawn, Raymond, Dante, Derek are fine gentlemen who were patient, kind and willing to go above and beyond just "moving" my immense amount of "stuff"! I will be eternally grateful for their time and effort done for me. They were always on time, took great care of all my items and NEVER complained about all the work involved. Thank you so very much and I will be calling on you again!
I used "All my Sons" moving company to move me from outer lexington to downtown lexington. the movers did not secure things. They were moving a large file cabinet up the stairs. Because it was not secure, the file cabinet tumbled down the stairs. it broke the landing floor, the bottom floor, front door and frame. Also, I found out that they 2 TV allegedley were stolen. The manager of the company was awful to me. i filed a claim with Corperate "All my Sons" movers with Estimates. I got really cheap estimates. The total was approx $1900. to fix and replace. (only $1200 to fix the door). I also filed a police report. Sadly, the movers allegidly lied to the police and the ring footage proves that. I have neigbors who has a ring camera capturing the essentials. Coorperate "All My Sons" only offered me $350.00 for everything and wanted me to sign a non disclosure form and reliqush them from liability. I said no thank you. If this is not resolved and my door and floors aren't fixed, I will purse this in court.
