I’d give 0 stars if I could. They were awful, showed up late to pack us to only work 4 hours and come back the next day late again with an unpacked house so nothing could be out on a truck. They didn’t label anything accordingly and threw stuff into boxes unprotected, packed cabinets full of glass and alcohol and just saran wrapped it without emptying the contents. Not to mention, THEY BROKE OUR FLAT SCREEN TV. Save yourself the trouble and hire someone else to move your stuff.
I would not use this moving company unless they come in cheaper than other quotes AND you are able bodied with plenty of time off to reassemble furniture. I was recommended this moving company by a company that specializes in downsizes, particularly for the elderly. I was downsizing and thought it would be perfect, and I was more than willing to pay for a full service move (as it was advertised). The packing was done very well but they complained the entire time “hope you’re going to a big kitchen” “hope you have tall ceilings” “are you also moving THAT (plastic lawn chairs)” “this all won’t fit on the truck” and my favorite “I’m not putting this bed back together.” The unpacking was atrocious. I would say “thank you,” and they’d say “you have too much stuff.” (Mind you, lawn equipment, christmas items, and majority of books were moved in advance.) Seemed like they wanted to put everything in the living room and leave. They wouldn’t take things like boxes / tubs upstairs, so I injured myself having to do that. My husband was had pneumonia and almost had to go to the ER he was doing so much. They didn’t setup 2/3 beds, an entertainment center, or fridge. I would ask them to do something, and they’d just walk away. I’ve lost over $1k in wages AFTER paying $5-10k to move. Not full service / white glove service AT ALL, and I feel conned by this company. I had better experience with two men and a truck. We have asked for a refund and are considering disputing our credit card.

She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and organized—walking me through the entire process and answering every question I had with patience and professionalism.On moving day, the crew was phenomenal—punctual, efficient, and extremely careful with all of my belongings. They worked hard and showed real respect for both my old home and new one. Their teamwork and attention to detail really stood out.A huge thank you to Scott, the owner, whose leadership clearly sets the tone for such a well-run company. And Jackie in billing made the final steps just as smooth—friendly, transparent, and helpful with the payment process.On top of all that, the pricing was incredibly fair and affordable, especially given the level of care and professionalism throughout the entire move.If you're looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and genuinely caring moving company, McCarley Moving & Storage is it. I wholeheartedly recommend them!
2 stars because the movers were very nice. Also 2 stars because of the destruction done to the property, our household goods, and their handling of it. After 1 hour of moving, I took a ‘pause’ to show the movers all the damage done to our stairwell in a brand new home that we built. More damages pursued. Their trucks leaked oil and transmission fluid onto our new concrete. I reached out to have all of this fixed and they ignored me so far. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
