Greaves Moving & Storage. Jason rocks! He knows exactly what he is doing and is an excellent team lead. His team of Jodie and Ben were excellent. Apryl stayed in touch, Joel checked in, and both Len and Ryan were very good packers.
I recently hired this moving company to assist with a residential move less than one kilometre from my previous address. Prior to the move, I opted to purchase liability insurance coverage for $105, which, as stated, would provide up to $52,500 in declared liability coverage in the event of any damage or loss.At the conclusion of the move, I was asked to sign the final receipt, which clearly indicated that the insurance coverage had been included. I signed the document under the impression that the insurance had been applied and was in effect.Shortly after the move, my husband and I discovered that our television had been damaged. The screen was cracked and blacked out, rendering it unusable. I contacted the company to initiate a claim under the insurance coverage I had purchased. However, I was informed by a company representative (believed to be an owner) that the insurance was not included in the final total at the bottom of the receipt, and therefore was not valid. I was told that I should have noticed this discrepancy and recalculated the total myself. As a result, the company declined to accept responsibility or offer compensation for the damage, however, They e-transfered me $250.00 to turn a blind eye.I believe this situation reflects a lack of transparency in the billing process and a failure to honour the agreed-upon insurance coverage, as clearly indicated on the signed receipt. I have requested that the company revisit this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the damaged television, in accordance with the stated insurance terms which they refused.I would not recommend using this company
Our move was truly exceptional. Both Michael and Christian took extreme care in handling all of our furniture and certainly went beyond what we expected. They were courteous, motivated and knowledgeable on every aspect from moving furniture to re-assembling where required. We would highly recommend this moving company to anyone who is looking for an affordable, and a quality company who truly cares about your needs.
Great team who took care of my move from Cumberland to Sidney. Friendly, patient (I wasn’t quite ready) and efficient. The weather was terrible when they finished loading the truck, but they then drove the 3 hours back to Victoria, which got them home after 9:30 pm and the following morning first filled my storage rental before taking my household goods to my new home. FANTASTIC and would highly recommend you turn to them when you need to move. They’re the best!
I had a great experience with move out, storage & move in. Literally all they do is great. Here’s my experience from start to finish: Scheduling was simple & quick, they had two movers out around 4-5 days after I called. Everything was kept in storage for a month & came out with no issues nothing broken or scratched. The move in was also incredibly easy. I called & they scheduled me for maybe 3 days after I called, so real quick. Tyler helped with both move out & in, he’s a great guy! They have really kind, easy to chat with & fun people working as their movers. My dog is a rescue & is really sensitive to the energy people bring, he had zero problems cuddling up to the guys & recognizing they’re good people. As for pricing, all the aforementioned services were so reasonably priced!! I truly expected a one bedroom move & storage might be way out of my price range so I’ve never asked for help but this was worth every penny for only around $2k.(obviously the weight & timing affect the pricing, my stuff was pretty light for furniture & timing stayed around the minimum.)
