Updating my review -After working with their manager and staff, I was given a credit to get our total closer to the estimated amount. I do appreciate their this and updated the stars.After talking to their team, I believe the discrepancy happened because I understood our estimate to be an “out the door” total, like the other quotes we had. However, it seems like the amount I was quoted was for just the move and then there were additional changes, fees and taxes.————We ended up paying almost 2x what was quoted. They cited “small hallways” adding an extra several hours to the move. It couldn’t have been that they were moving items together I move into the house myself. I ended up helping move things to the truck to move time along. My husband and I also helped unload and set things back up. If we hadn’t our total would have been much more. This is my first time hiring movers but I was frustrated the amount was so much more than anticipated.
Hercules Movers was extremely efficient and professional from start to finish. They answered every question we had in a very timely manner and made a stressful situation so much better for our family. Our moving coordinator, Chang,was great to work with. I would highly recommend Hercules Movers to anyone moving in the future!
