I have moved 6 times this is the 7th. This is the worst moving company. They lied on every aspect of this move. It took over a week to get my stuff delivered.
The Moving Team from Allied Van Lines was super great!! Heather and Abby worked together in concert to make sure every step of the way was very well communicated and understood. Even the day of packing Heather was there to calm all my anxiety and make sure everything was going well. The team of Mr.Clayton, Reggie, Michael, and Tony worked in a very harmonious orchestrated flow being extremely careful and thorough in handling all the items.

We were told, during an on sight appraisal, our final total would in no way exceed the quote issued and agreed upon. 24 hours before our move was set to begin, we were informed additional aid, hours and costs would be necessary to transport our belongings to the truck assigned to our job because the loading dock and location was not documented or assessed with accuracy by the appraiser. We were given packing instructions by a representative for tvs, mirrors and mattresses. These methods were deemed inadequate by the moving team upon arrival. Given this team did not have additional packing equipment with them, as previously stated, we were forced to trash our original packing material and purchase different kinds. We were told payment by card was collected once the job was completed. This was untrue. We were told we would have a representative touch base with us once the truck was packed and the entire duration of transit. This did not happen. In addition to the countless pieces of misinformation, consistently poor communication and failure to educate us as needed for a smooth process, our bed frame was carelessly broken almost immediately after packing began. The promise of a stress-free move, unfortunately, fell short at every turn.
I had Angel Velez and his family pack mirrors, furniture, and boxes. They arrived earlier than promised, got right to work. They were like a well-oiled machine. They took great pains to protect my belongings. Very friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first experience with a moving company and the NC end was great. Thank you, Angel, Irma, and family. Also, Allison Low, my move coordinator, stayed in close contact with me and made sure it all went smoothly.
