Reviews frequently mention attentive planning, accurate or close estimates, and considerate packing crews who label boxes clearly. Positive feedback cites timely communication before pickup and delivery, including driver check-ins. Some reviews report concerns about billing clarity and delays on complex, multi-truck moves. Overall ratings trend positive but mixed, reflecting both smooth long-distance experiences and a few disputes over charges or damage.

I had a fantastic experience with East Coast Moving! From the very beginning, they were professional and attentive—when I reached out for a quote, someone came by to provide an in-person estimate.

The day before the move, Bev and Tyler arrived to pack everything up. They were friendly, efficient, and labeled the boxes perfectly, making it easy to sort which items were headed to my new place and which were bound for storage.

On moving day, Tammy and the team showed up with the same positive energy and professionalism. They handled my large entertainment center with real care and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use East Coast Moving again—they truly went above and beyond!

This was the absolute worst move I've had so far. I wasn't going to bother with a review but as I keep unpacking more broken things, here I am.
First of all, I got overcharged. I agreed to a 4 hr min that was to start at 1:30. They moved quick and finished at about 3.5 hrs. The bill said they started at 1pm and they had to add a half hour for the drive back to the shop. There was a still a half hour left on the 4hrs I was already paying. I was exhausted and didn't argue.
They did move quick and by quick I mean there was a lot of slamming things down and tossing stuff around. They broke handles off of bags from grabbing so hard, they broke my water cooler (new) from how they lifted it, countless pictures have been broken, dishes, my sectional couch doesn't connect anymore, my vanity and more. And more I don't know yet. There are scratches on so much, every single thing was covered in dirt and mud. And they took a chunk out of the wall of my apt. It was horrible and so not worth the money. I've had many movers (professional and not) and never this bad. Don't use this company if you can avoid it. I never will again. So disgusted and disappointed

We had a terrific experience from start to finish with East Coast Movers. We started with Roger Thibodeau working with us to estimate the price of our move. When all was said and done Roger estimated our belongings within 500 lbs. of what it was. This was all done virtually. Roger stayed in contact with us up to the day of our move from Ontario to New Brunswick.
The day before our move our driver Lee contacted us letting us know what time to expect him. His ETA was exact. Lee was a terrific representative for East Coast Movers. He put us at ease immediately. He explained everything that was going to happen that day while keeping us laughing throughout. The helpers that came to give Lee a hand were also terrific lads. I have moved more times in my life than I care to think about and without question Lee and the team made this move the easiest.
Delivery day in Fredericton went as easy as loading day. East Coast movers and their team members like Lee take the stress and worry out of your move.

Definitely this moving company is one to stay AWAY from. Moved my belongings in two trucks because they contracted the wrong truck..I paid over 15k.. delivered the first load over a week late then demanded an extra 10K to deliver the remainder. Told me my load weighed more than estimated. When I asked for the weigh bill, they would not provide it. Called the parent company Allied Van Lines and told them I would sue. Though it took quite a however Allied made amends and unappreciated that. When I finally received my second truck, I had quite a few of my belongings broken or missing.

What you see and hear on the news with these moving companies does happens.

I highly recommend you do not use this company, be warned.

I booked this company for my move from Ontario to Fredericton and I recommend them highly????????. They phoned before arriving, arrived on time and made quick and efficient work of packing me up. They took my belonging east and stored them for a month until I got possession of my new house. Tammy and crew arrived just when they said they would and quickly unloaded. It was soon discovered that I was missing some stuff and as soon as Tammy returned to the warehouse, the missing pallet was located, she immediately phoned to let me know and they were on my doorstep the next day with the missing items.
It was a great experience all round and I highly recommend them????????????????????????????????
