Just completed a local move within Greensboro with American van lines and the crew was very detailed and careful. They crew was thorough and gentle in their packing. Asked questions when unsure of direction and were extremely communicative. Only had one item that was lightly scratched and the driver Mike was insistent about documentation. I would highly recommend the company and you’re in good hands if Mike, Matt, Brian, or Kenny are completing your move. For context I had a move with full pack and paid around $2800 worth every penny!
We had an excellent experience with American Van Lines. We ended up with their sister company "We Are United Moving & Storage" filled in for American Van Lines on the day we wanted to move. Misha and Abdysh were excellent, they were on time for loading and also on delivery. None of furniture or boxes were damaged. We received every single box and piece of furniture that was loaded onto their truck. We couldn't ask for a better 1st time long distance move. The service was above and beyond our expectations. Also Rick Peveler, our move coordinator was always available to take our calls, kept us on top of changes and was an outstanding coordinator. Thank you very much Misha, Abdysh and Rick for such an outstanding experience of moving long distance.
Worked with Rick Peveler to setup our move from Virginia to Maine. Rick did a great job walking me through the process and making sure all of our items were accounted for. He also assisted me with updating our quote when I needed to make some adjustments. Great customer service which seems to be very rare these days. Thanks Rick!
This is not a company that you would want to hire. They will tell you what you need to hear just to get your move. Then afterwards they do not contact you. Keep in touch with you. Whatever you do do not go with this company. they also said that a representative would be with me at all times during this move. Nobody has been following through on the move and he has been seven days and I have not seen my truck yet. Also, when you call the number it’s AMERICAN Van lines but then they call you a day ahead of time and tell you that they have to give it to the sister company because they cannot find a driver for the truck the truck that shows up is old and ratyand they’re gonna do a over the road with that truck that Accompany Send two guys to load your house It’s only a dolly No other supplies took from 1:30 to 9:30 at night. It goes on@on do yourself a favor do not hire!!!!!!
I never used moving companies before and was not sure how other people would treat my possessions. When MBM movers showed up in my home, they were different from what I expected. They were clean, courteous and seemed pretty smart. I always pictured some big, gritty, jocks working at a moving company, but your movers were actually pleasant. They came to my home in Lexington on time ready to work. They were careful with every one of my things and managed to move them safely to my new home in Albany, NY. They put all of my stuff exactly where I wanted them and were very patient when I could not decide where to put the living room couch. These are truly some the nicest people I have ever met. If I knew professional movers were so good I would have been using them years ago. Thank you for a great moving experience.
