Pricing clarity and responsiveness vary by agent and crew, with some customers reporting quick updates and others noting unanswered messages.
Horrible experience . Moved cross country NA set delivery date for May 2q my closing date and then changed it to May 19 so I had to scramble pay for another local movers out of my pocket plus had to find storage.NA also lost several of my items and had the audacity to charge me another $200 after off loading at secondary storage site I had to find.NA did nothing to help took my $10,000 then could have cared less. Left 20 text and voice messages for NA driver enroute witu Zero response.Great customer service. I wiuld advise you think twice between booking Mcwhite NA Prescott Valley AZ
From the very beginning of our moving “process”, Jerry (North American out of Prescott) did soooo much to make things easier for us. He went beyond other companies by actually driving up to our home in Flagstaff (the others did video walk throughs) to assess our needs.Luke led the pack-out crew and shuttled our belongings to our new home. He was friendly, efficient and careful with all of our belongings.Would HIGHLY recommend!!
After we dealt with all of the below, their drivers tried to run our neighbor over with their tractor trailer when he confronted them about trespassing on his property and nearly crashing into his vehicles.Absolutely horrendous experience. David Pendergraft was our first point of contact and then Natalie Rapinoe. We were moving a 5-story, 3,400 sqft house across 2 states and they sent a team of 2 people to complete the job. It took them 16 hours. We were stuck in a room in our house with our dogs for 16 hours because we couldn’t leave while strangers were in our house. The driver couldn’t speak any English, so I’m not sure how he obtained his CDL. When I expressed concern to Dave and Natalie, Dave blamed the driver and Natalie didn’t even bother to respond. At the destination, we had the same team of 2, which took 9 hours to simply unload the truck. They didn’t even have to unpack anything or set my of it up because we were moving the vast majority of it into a garage on our property, not into another house. Of course Natalie made us pay in full before they would even unload our items, despite knowing we’d had a miserable experience up to that point. There was no effort by Dave or Natalie to make it right and when I expressed frustration, they got mad at me, acting like answering my calls and texts was some kind of above and beyond favor instead of normal customer service when you screw up. Then they handed me off to some random guy named William Tavita, who they claimed was some kind of supervisor, but he never bothered to reach out. Run far away from this organization unless you want multiple 16-hour days, headaches, poor communication, and movers that make your move more stressful, not less.
I hired North American to move me from Arizona to South Carolina. I had someone in home assessing and giving quote, they were quick, accurate and the lowest quote for the best service! When the movers came, they were experienced, friendly and quick with loading and unloading. I didnt have not one item that was damaged and they needed to move my items off the big truck to a U-haul due to the area I moved not having enough space for the big truck. I was surprised especially with the distance of the move and having to move my items twice. VERY IMPRESSED! Highly recommend these movers! 10/10! Carl the truck driver was amazing!
We hired North American Moving Services for a large move from Montana to California, including a main home and guest quarters. We paid over $20,000 and had high expectations based on initial conversations. Unfortunately, the experience turned into one disappointment after another. The company first asked to delay our move by one day to accommodate their schedule. On moving day, movers arrived at 8:00 a.m., but the truck did not show up until after 11:00 a.m. The crew was short-handed and unable to finish loading by the end of the day. Because the truck was only half loaded, they had to return the following day.On day two, only one mover showed up to help the driver load the remainder of our home. They worked from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. and still left our patio furniture behind. We were closing on the sale of our home the very next day and were left scrambling with little time for final cleanup. When loading our remaining personal items, we discovered that five bottles of wine had been taken from our private wine collection.Delivery in California was smoother, but still not without damage:One couch was tornA recliner was brokenA grill cover was rippedThe most devastating loss was the disappearance of an entire tote containing vintage 1980s video game consoles and games, items that are irreplaceable. Between the missing wine and the games, we are out thousands of dollars. When we reported these issues, the company refused to take responsibility for the missing wine and tote, stating that because the missing items weren’t noticed until a couple of days after delivery, they would not honor the claim—despite the obvious chaos and exhaustion that comes with a cross-state move of this size. For the amount we paid, we expected professionalism, accountability, and care for our belongings. Unfortunately, North American Moving Services delivered none of those. I would not recommend this company, especially for large or high-value moves.
