I cannot say enough amazing things about this moving company! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, organized, and completely stress free. Moving is usually such an overwhelming experience, but they made everything feel effortless. I have a kid and a dog and they worked about this as well!The team showed up right on time, handled all of our belongings with so much care, and worked efficiently without ever rushing or cutting corners. They were professional, kind, and incredibly respectful of both our old and new spaces. Not a single item was damaged, and everything was placed exactly where we asked.What really stood out was how easy they made everything. Clear communication, transparent pricing, no surprises, just a smooth, well executed move. They truly took the stress off our shoulders.I also want to say that our move happened two days after the biggest blizzard in NY history in over 10 years and they still came one time and parked in the snow!If you’re looking for movers who are reliable, professional, and genuinely great at what they do, these guys are it. Utilized JP Urban Moving for my recent move within Park Slope. While I was initially considering JP Urban only for move, I ended up using them both for packing and moving after receiving a fair-priced quote from them alongside excellent guidance from Milan.While my move to the new apartment required me to work with various contractors and companies for repair and renovation purposes, my favorite part was working with JP Urban.This may sound straight out of the infomercial but the fact is JP Urban made the moving from the most stressful to the most straightforward part of the whole transition.Everything from the initial quote to the move coordination to the actual packing/moving was seamless. Their whole crew from Milan who worked with us on the quote to Jet, the moving coordinator to the movers/packers - Ulises, Marcoses, Gabriel, Alfredo - were professional and easy to work with.The whole pack and move finished in 5 and a quarter hours and we were charged accordingly for the actual time. Appreciated their use of eco-friendly bins for packing and also their generous offer of letting us keep the bins an extra week to align with our closet build schedule.I wholeheartedly recommend JP Urban Moving. IMHO They are the best in Brooklyn for price, performance and service. You can tell how much I liked them based on the sheer length of this review (check my other reviews to verify)!
JP was very responsive and communicated throughout all parts of my most recent move. They were timely and fair on getting me a quote for the move, always returned my calls when I had questions leading up to the move day, texted and called to let me know their status when they were arriving, and were careful and thorough in their sweep of the home. The movers are able to do basic disassembly and reassembly of furniture, and they also take multiple forms of payment! I can't recommend them enough and would definitely look to them for friends and family members.
JP Urban Moving gave me the confidence I needed during a stressful and arduous time - moving is not easy! However, Miguel's crew: Jose, Marco, Jofre, Davy and Miguel especially made this process so much better. We used movers for the first time ever and we are so glad we did.Damien, the sales rep I initially spoke to, ensured everything went smoothly and answered all of my questions throughout the entire booking process. They kept true to the estimate and gave us first responder and 1st time customer discount as well, which I was very happy with.Miguel made sure to thoughtfully and carefully make sure our items were moved without hiccups. He even asked me if I would like to vacuum my rugs before they were wrapped up... as a mom I was grateful for that :)There was a Nor’easter a day before and the snow did not make it easy for us to drive through the roads (or walk on the snow) but the crew kept on working.The crew did a great job and I will be recommending JP Urban Moving should someone need help moving.
For the second time JP Urban movers did a fantastic job! They were again on time and super professional. All our items were handled with great care. This time I got the packing service. The cost was reasonable and they gave me a discount for being a repeat customer. I had to move my mom and it was so stressful but they took all the worry out of the move. I checked with other companies and they couldn’t match the price of JP Movers. I would recommend them to anyone moving.
