Another amazing experience with Metropolis Moving! A huge shoutout to Cathal and Tyler, who were absolute rockstars. Not only were they punctual and efficient, but they were also incredibly friendly and easy to work with. They made a stressful NYC move feel seamless.I also want to highlight the owner, Corey, who was incredibly flexible when we had to cancel our original date due to a blizzard. He went above and beyond to reschedule and made our move happen that same week. We couldn't have asked for a better team and highly recommend them to anyone moving in the city!
Best movers we’ve ever had! A wonderful company with great employees, especially Eric, John, and Tyler who made light work of our move. They were very communicative about their arrival, texting us promptly when we were approaching our window. After a quick check of the inventory, they got right to work bringing our belongings down from a fifth floor walk up — certainly no easy task. At our new place, they checked with us to make sure furniture and boxes were placed in the correct area.John diligently padded our furniture with moving covers and tape to make sure it arrived in one piece, and brought calming energy (and smooth jazz!) to the process. All three guys were able to easily lift anything we gave them — but Eric was especially impressive, a true workhorse! And Tyler was, in addition to a great mover, the man behind communication and paperwork, making sure we understood our bill and where they were during the day.We first heard of Metropolis Moving through another company, who referred us due to a higher insurance requirement from our building. But from our first interaction to our last, we understand why Metropolis was so highly recommended — and we will be sure to recommend them to all our friends looking to move anytime soon!- Duffy & Julie
Metropolis is great in so many ways. They’ve moved me twice: once last year and again over this past weekend. First I moved from a 4th floor walk-up in Jersey City to a house in South Queens, then I moved from the house in South Queens to a 1st floor apartment in Astoria. I was so pleased with their work last year that I knew I wanted to hire them again this year.The movers are professional, responsive, and polite, over the phone and in-person. They worked well together and moved efficiently. The move is also reasonably priced, and was the first time as well. I received a 3% discount too, because I posted 3 posts of the move on my Instagram story.Overall, this is a wonderful company with awesome movers, and I recommend anyone using them for their next move.

Moving from the Upper East Side to Ridgewood Queens isn’t easy, but Jack, Marshall, and Adam were not only efficient and careful with everything — they were also kind, upbeat, and just genuinely good people to spend a moving day with.They checked in with us often, made sure everything ended up exactly where we wanted it, and kept the whole process stress-free. We recently moved from Brooklyn to NJ with Metropolis Move, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The packing team — Adam, Jonathan, and Eddie — did an outstanding job carefully preparing all of our belongings. On moving day, Kavan, Eddie, and Jack handled everything smoothly and efficiently.Everyone was professional, friendly, and hardworking, and they made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and well-organized. Although the final cost was a little over the initial estimate, the quality of service and care made it well worth it.Highly recommend Metropolis Move, and a big shoutout to Adam, Jonathan, Eddie, Kavan, and Jack for their great work!
