Jason and the Capital Movers team were great to work with from start to finish! They were professional and prompt in following up on an initial request for a quote, provided a competitive and accurate estimate based on the details we provided online, and patient in helping us schedule and confirm the move date we needed. The team showed up on time the day of the move, handled everything with care throughout, and had us completely moved out, delivered and moved in again within the time they’d estimated.
Absolutely amazing experience. The website was easy to use and Jason was very helpful setting everything up. I received multiple confirmation texts from the time I booked, up until moving day. On the day of the move Dominique and Michael were on time and extremely professional. We only had large items moved (couches, desks, dining room table, etc) but they were able to pack everything up and unpack everything very quickly with no damage. I will definitely use Capital again in the future!
Dominique and the other mover, did a fantastic job. Very professional and intensive through the process. The moment they arrived they hit the ground running and finished in a timely manner. Out of 5 other moving companies, they were the most inexpensive, so cost friendly. I would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.
We did not have a great experience with this company. They charged much, much more than they estimated. Their workers were very unprofessional, damaged our front door, the wood around our front door entrance as well as scraped many, many places on our wood floors as well as broke a glass table top and lost parts to 2 of our beds. This ended up being a multi day move and after seeing the damage to our door and doorway from the first day, I asked the worker to pad the door and entrance to protect them from further damage (which a professional moving company would have done in first place). One of the moving workers then proceeded to start to yell at me and telling me I had no business telling him how to do his job! This is the day AFTER they damaged the door and entrance to my home. I have never been yelled at so disrespectfully from a person I no less employed in my life! I could not believe this man had the gall to yell and scream at me in my own home after asking that he protect my home from further damage that their company did to my house! This should have been a 1 day move, took them 2 and they didn’t even finish. This cost us more than 2k more than quoted. We ended up having to hire another company to finish the move. They work by the hour and are not exactly efficient or move any faster than a slug. My 60 year old husband and myself could move items faster than 4 of these workers. Jason (the owner) said he would coordinate a repair person to fix the damage to the door, the door frame and wood floors but despite us trying to coordinate, these repairs have still not come to happen 4 months past the damage. We will be getting attorneys and I DO NOT recommend anyone use this company.
I highly recommended Capital Movers. They moved my 4 bedroom house plus a grand piano with zero issues. It's a tricky house with lots of stairs and they did a fantastic job. The crew showed up on time, they were super nice all day long and were always professional. The crew was careful with everything and efficient with their time. The rates were also very competitive. Can't say enough good things about this business.
