We used the company to move from Roundrock to Hutto on May 24th 2025. We moved from apartment to our new house with only limited furniture’s and boxes. Although the people who came for moving were descent but we had couple of issues with them. Our new house ceiling fan light was broken by them when they were moving furniture boards, when asked for a claim, they told me to go and buy from Walmart or Homedepot. They did not even care to express concerns and apologise for broken glass shades. Today we are struggling to replace this piece as they are very hard to find and also expensive. They misplaced one of the sticks which go in the base of our day bed and it’s been several days we requested to find that piece in the truck so that we can pick it up but they never responded back. Overall we had not so good experience with them. Please go with them if you only have no choice. They agreed to provide lower prices that’s why I went with them. They also did not care to offer some discount for broken glass price. Infact they charged us 50$ extra for 15 mins beyond agreed time. We had limited stuff and we faced such issues and I am sure for people who have many stuff and costlier items it’s going to be very frustrating to choose them as your moving company.
My experience with The Official Moving Company was nothing short of a nightmare. I used their packing and moving services in September of 2020 and I was stunned by lack of care displayed towards my belongings as we moved into a storage unit. I had initially planned to use their services again to move into a new home, but after the horrendous experience I had, I decided to seek an alternative. Now that I am settled in a new place, I have had time to assess the full extent of the damage.Not only did this company damage several of my items during the move, but they also reused old, low-quality boxes that required excessive use of tape (see pics - This added to the time and materials cost. Note the two shades of tape on the reused boxes along with the water damaged). Also, by reusing old boxes with labels already on them, no one knew where to unpack things (see pics - This is how I ended up with boxes tagged for both the master closet and the kitchen!). This was incredibly frustrating and made the already tiring task of unpacking that much more difficult.Prior to posting this review, I reached out to the company in hopes of finding a resolution. They provided no support or help whatsoever. It was as if they didn't care about the damage they had caused to my property or the inconvenience they had put me through.I hope that this company takes steps to address these concerns and improve their services so that no one has to go through the same ordeal. That said, I would strongly advise anyone considering this company's moving services to look elsewhere for a more reliable and professional option.
They came in and moved everything as efficient as possible. Moving two houses into one in around 3 hours was great. Also, they cover your items and secure them. Nothing was broken when it arrived. They disassemble and reassemble couches. I had no idea how they figured it out but they did. The price is reasonable because you’re getting quality work. Hiring movers is a must and I recommend these guys highly.
These guys were absolutely fantastic. Our closing date for our house kept getting pushed back and they kept working with us to make sure they could help. They showed up on time. Were very communicative day of. Got it done real quick and for much less than I was expecting. Fantastic job guys. I’d recommend The Official Moving Company to everyone. If I ever move again. I’m calling these guys. Worth every penny.
The official moving company came through and saved us on a last minute notice (again). My partner and I had scheduled to move out of our rental an into a new home but we noticed a last minute scheduling mistake with the first company we booked. The official moving company was able to come same day and move everything out of our two story rental swiftly and carefully. They put a lot of thought into the way everything needed to be packed into the truck and moved my antique curiosity cabinet and large (also heavy) work benches with no issues. I felt comfortable in trusting them with my large frameless mirrors as well. You can tell they take pride in their work and I highly recommend them for large moves like ours as well as for moving heavy and/or delicate furniture.The crew was friendly and overall had a great attitude, I enjoyed having them around as much as I appreciated their work ethic. I will definitely be using their services for ALL my future moving needs.
