We had an excellent experience with the leadership and moving team at American Moving & Storage. From planning stages to the ‘big day’ we carefully coordinated all the details of our move, and it proved to be a success. They visited both sites and ensured that they understood all the possible challenges and worked out logistics beforehand for any difficult items. Best of all that information was relayed to the team there on the day so there were no surprises. We were supplied with everything we needed from tape to packing paper and a variety of box sizes and guidance every step of the way. This was our second move with them, and it says a lot that it had been five years and there were still movers and staff working there who had helped us on the first move.The move team was courteous and had a great attitude as they transferred our boxes (some very heavy) and helped us execute our vision for the new office space by ensuring all the items got to the right space and were assembled properly. They made what could have easily been a difficult and stressful day - flow with ease. Special thanks to Chuck for leading the team on the day - you worked tirelessly to ensure that we had a smooth transition. Kevin, Wendy, Tammy, Leslie, Travis and Frank, to name a few are excellent. Overall would wholeheartedly recommend and would call on them again if ever we needed to move! A million thanks and best wishes.
Stay away from this company! we scheduled a move from Warner Robins GA to Pensacola Fl "Norm" as the guy called himself promised it would be picked up and delivered same day, which was first lie. Received a text on Friday before move saying truck would be at our house next day between 2-6. we called them and explained we were told we were told it would be picked up and delivered same day. They told us they could not guarantee us that, that it was up to driver. After an hour of back and forth "Norm" said he reached out to dispatch and he said they could accommodate. Needless to say, the truck did not show up between 2-6. Called company and finally driver reached out and said he would be there about 8. Called the company and they said it was up to driver when they can make delivery. Talked to driver and he says it's not up to him that he doesn't make delivery. So it's not up to him when we get it delivered. It could be a week. As we were talking to a manager about this she hung up on us. We are filing a police report on charged "Theft by deception" I know this won't make you make your Facebook page. I will also file this under yelp and Google.
American M&S have been wonderful to work with on my local storage needs during a renovation. They have accommodated my schedule on tight notice and been clear and transparent about their charges and services. The guys who delivered my stored furniture back to my house — Chase, Jonathon and Kwan — were efficient, pleasant and helpful. I recommend the company.
They were and are fantastic. We needed to send items for storage and then delivery at a later date. They updated us every time they received furniture and delivered everything promptly when we were ready for the items. 10 stars!!
We used American Moving & Storage in Savannah, GA to load our rented 26 foot truck. This was a great investment as they loaded the truck much more efficiently than we could from a time and space perspective. We were able to get the most out of our truck rental dollars because of their experience. The crew Frank, John and Tony had professional attitudes and great work ethic. They are great at what they do. Communication from our Relocation Specialist, Nicole was excellent and she was able to help us understand what we needed for packing, timing, etc. Highly recommended and we will use them again.
