Hello - My parents are longtime residents of Mount Pearl and I have been referencing the Mount Pearl Facebook group for all kinds of professionals - electricians, plumbers and most recently, movers. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post about their experience with these really important professions. This week my parents moved from their home to a retirement community and so of course I checked to see what folks said about local moving companies. So I contacted LeDrews and asked about their availability to help with the move. Our experience with them was beyond positive. Downsizing comes with so many challenges which then make the move all the more complicated. We had two different moving days with four different destinations (all local) as family claimed some items that weren’t going with my parents and other items went into storage. They sent a team to us on two different days at our request. The team of four men were courteous, friendly, professional and very careful with both our belongings and the walls and doorways of the various locations involved in moving the belongings. They arrived on time. They were prompt and efficient and everything arrived at their destination intact. In addition, I had no trouble reaching Bob LeDrew, one of the owners when I called the office. His brother Lorne LeDrew was at our house within 48 hours to evaluate the size and nature of the move and both Bob and Lorne were extremely sensitive to the nature of a move involved when parents are leaving a long time residence to move into a retirement community. In addition, within 1 hour of the move being complete, Bob LeDrew called both my mother and I to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. For all of these reasons, I would not hesitate to recommend LeDrew for any and all of your moving needs. Thank you LeDrews for making a challenging and emotional time more manageable for my entire family.
The LeDrew team just packed and moved our large household to a new home in St. John’s. They did a wonderful job. As far as the move itself they were safe, careful, efficient and clean. Everyone on the team was courteous, friendly, helpful and did their best to make our experience as comfortable as possible. Their price was fair and reasonable. I recommend them highly. Thanks guys.

Bob the service we received from all of your staff both in Brantford, Ontario and here in Lewisporte, Newfoundland was absolutely fantastic. ?? I would totally recommend these guys anytime. I made the mistake of using them. Overpriced, didn't take care with my belongings and definitely not knowledgeable of shipping motorcycles (things on it were broken and I had to replace them as well as a dead battery). I was told that my belongings would come off and on the truck and also be switched to another truck 3 different times. Somehow a box came open and my spare car key and fob must have fell out and wasn't noticed. Never found out until a year later when I unpacked the box it was in. All in all I overpaid and they nabbed me again another $1000 after they arrived at the locker in which they were to deliver to. I didn't resist paying it as I wasn't even in the province when it was delivered but had I got a visual of my things, I would have held that money until things were resolved. This was my experience.Edit in response to the company's response.5 months after my review and 2 years after I contacted you about these complaints do you respond appropriately. I'll advise the viewers here. You were made aware of these issues. You sent me off to take it up with the subcontractors you used to move me. You didn't take my feedback into consideration at all. And I paid out of pocket to repair my motorcycle. Again I also paid an additional $1000 once my items arrived. I stand by my review.
We hired Bob LeDrew & Sons to move a piano for us. They were very professional and easy to deal with. They arrived on time and everything went very smoothly. We definitely will use them again in the future if we need to and highly recommend to anyone who needs piano movers.
