Stay far away from this company. The positive reviews are incredibly misleading.

We hired this company to help load our U-Haul. After they arrived, we asked them to move everything—not just the heavy furniture—and were happy to pay for the additional work. To help lighten the load in the Florida heat, we assisted with carrying items downstairs, following the movers’ instructions on what to move, how to wrap items, and where to place them.

While we were upstairs, one of the movers informed us that the other mover had broken our vintage marble tabletop. He apologized, said the mover felt terrible, and assured us they would make it right. We asked what happened and were told that the mover had dropped it while loading the truck.

We were not present when the damage occurred. We only learned about it after the fact.

When we went downstairs, we found the marble top broken into multiple pieces inside the U-Haul. However, within minutes, the story changed. We were then told that nobody dropped it and that it must have somehow “slid” and fallen on its own while the mover was away from the truck.

After the job was completed, the mover contacted the manager. Rather than offering any solution, the manager immediately denied responsibility, claiming that because we had helped load items, any damage was our problem. This was despite the fact that we were following the movers’ instructions and were not present when the tabletop was damaged.

We still paid for the move in full and even tipped the movers. We were never looking for a discount or refund—we simply wanted our damaged marble top replaced.

The issue isn’t the accident itself. Accidents happen. The issue is the changing story, the refusal to take responsibility, and the complete lack of effort to resolve the situation. Based on the facts, we can only conclude that the tabletop was damaged while in the mover’s care. The company has chosen not to make it right, and we will be pursuing other avenues to resolve the matter.

LOL movers was recommended to be by a friend and she did not disappoint! The team was cordial, and everything was explained to me from the time I called for an estimate, to the day of service. Joe, Will, and Derek were amazing! Very friendly, kind and were so careful with all of my belongings. I can't thank them enough for all there hard work! From start to finish LOL was great. John communicated and DB and Rick moved our belongings like it was there own house. They were tireless and efficient. Karen and Robin were great to work with. LOL movers were great to work with. We started planning with them three weeks before our move date and their communication was very clear and timely. The movers Derek and Joe worked nonstop and were super careful. Nothing was damaged in the move and they were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend LOL! Moving is super stressful, LOL helped ease my anxiety!!
