Wonderful experience! Jason and his team are top-notch movers and will care for you and your possessions.
These guys were great. I had several moves in the area to load and these guys really came through. Thanks alot guys.
This was a cross-country move - from Kansas to South Carolina- of a 4 bedroom home. Estimator came out to our home and did an in depth evaluation of what we needed and what they could provide. Allied also provided us a moving coordinator that guided us along the way. The driver (and movers at each end) were professional, worked very hard, and certainly met our expectations. I would recommend Allied Coleman to others looking to make a similar move.
Wichita KS side (Coleman Moving) was not great. You can tell they make money on packing material yet I still sustained quite a bit of damage to my furniture due to inadequate protection, and I'm still missing items. I highly discourage the use their storage services because that is where I suspect my items went missing. I could not be in the garage to watch every sticker go on every box. If you choose to pack some items yourself, do not use clear containers because interesting items go missing like charger bases for lawn care items. Quite a few items arrived without items stickers and not on the inventory list and so I can only imagine that I will not see the items that are missing. I did howere receive a Porta-Loo that wasn't mine lol. They were supposed to provide support to disassemble the king bed base but I had to do that myself because the poor young bloke didn't have a clue or tools.Danielle, the Move Coordinator for my move was not often helpful in that she was always a step behind and more times than not, provided incorrect or incomplete information pertaining to the international move process and customs. She would also call right smack in the middle of the move at the most hectic time asking how its going ..."well, I can't talk right now because I'm under the bed disassembling it because the kid you sent doesn't know how"...and then wasn't very responsive when I did reach out; it took multiple days and multiple email attempts to get a response. My delivery was delayed at least a week and a half due to the lack of responsiveness. On the receiving Canadian side I will say that the driver/broker Sam was simply fantastic and is the only reason why this is a 3 star review and not a 1. He was knowledgeable, communicated well, and was super responsive and helpful. I would say his delivery was very smooth & bed assembly was provided. His 2 early riser helpers were exceptionally good. The 2 crew memers that arrived late in the morning were not great as they dumped heavy boxes and items on the main floor instead of carrying them up or downstairs where they were labeled to go. Well.. it seems you can't have it all. I want to thank Sam for making my experience better on the latter end.
The worst service I've ever been provided. One guy in an SUV showed up to move my whole house and asked me where his help was. The truck finally showed up while I was out working on my closing, again with one guy, and they scrambled to get help. Again they got a hold of one more guy. I was told two crews were going to handle my move. Delivery was done in our storage unit and at first it looked fine. As we removed the outside stuff it appeared that our things behind were tossed into the unit. When we got to our tvs, which were boxed in the special large screen tv boxes which we purchased, we took them to our new home and set them up. Both screens were destroyed. I put in a claim because I purchased the insurance protection and 2 1/2 months later my claim was denied because I moved them from the unit, in the box, and took them home. We've been finding more damage as we empty the unit. Can't emphasize enough- worst service ever.
