Translation: they couldn't find a mover cheap enough to make their profit margin, so they just sat on my money. I had to book someone else last minute and lost my deposit.

They claimed my items were more volume than I declared and demanded another $2,000 in cash. Their contract says they're a broker, but nowhere on their website does it mention that. Deceptive.
It's been a terrible experience, the customer service em was extremely rude, they will upcharge you and tell you the price you were charged was an estimate. The movers were lazy, they hardly packed, we even gave them extra money to take the rest of our stuff but they still take everything. I expected more professionalism and care for the price I paid. Stay away from this company. Trying to save pennies will cost you way more in the end. I wouldn't recommend Best Long Distance Moving to my worst enemy!
