We recently (early July 2024) had the exterior of our house painted. We did a competitive bid process across 4 reputable painting companies in the metropolitan Atlanta area and ended up selecting Paint Etc. to do the work. While they were not the cheapest of the 4, they offered the most value for the price.

We are very demanding consumers and know what we want. We wanted our home to be pressure washed with a bleach solution to remove and inhibit mold growth and to prepare the surface for painting; we wanted our plants and our neighbor's plants to be protected during this pressure washing process; we also did not want our windows pressure washed to ensure no seals were broken; we wanted any wood gaps on our home to be filled with elastomeric caulk; we did not want any siding gaps to be caulked; we wanted 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Duration paint to be applied to all surfaces to ensure uniform coverage and durability over time. We also wanted all roof accessories (vent stacks, etc.) to be painted with high-heat black paint.

Well, the crew at Paint Etc. did an outstanding job! The work took 2-days with a crew of 3 (on the 2nd day there was a 4th that helped with the cleanup). One of the 3 was a painter/project lead and oversaw the job while also performing painting activities and a supervisor checked in on the work as well each day to ensure our satisfaction. The crew meticulously masked and sprayed the home and where appropriate, hand brushed certain areas.

I waited almost 30-days before posting this review to see if we still felt the same way as we did when the painter's left our home. I am happy to say, we do. We have not found anything that we are disappointed with even after living with the end product for a month. We have also received several complements from our neighbors on the outcome.

We would highly recommend Paint Etc. if you are looking for an exterior painting job that you want done right with no short cuts and a focus on pleasing the customer at a fair price for the valued delivered.
