McRoy’s was recommended to us when our deck needed some repairs & a new coat of stain. Their estimate was completely in line & we were thrilled with not only how quickly they scheduled & got the job done but also how they were able to make our deck look brand new! Highly recommend!

McRoy Painting advertises quality workmanship and customer service. Based on my direct experience, neither was delivered once legitimate deficiencies were identified.

I work in the residential construction industry and have professional familiarity with proper drywall and painting standards. McRoy was contracted to paint several areas that were being renovated including repairing a section of failing drywall tape on a living room ceiling prior to painting. I was told the repair was completed. In reality, the drywall tape was not repaired and was simply painted over. The defect was immediately visible, indicating the work was not performed as represented. I was required to instruct their crew on how the repair should be properly completed and to identify several additional workmanship issues throughout the project. The project manager responsible for the job responded to these concerns with hostility and unprofessional behavior rather than addressing the issues.

In addition, McRoy applied the incorrect trim color throughout the home. This was a clear execution error.

After project completion, the ceiling area they claimed to have repaired began peeling and failing, confirming the repair was not properly performed. The trim painted the incorrect color is now warping and visually unacceptable. Bubbling paint on walls are visible due to not preparing the surface correctly before painting over previous paint. I have made multiple documented attempts via phone calls and text messages requesting a warranty inspection and corrective action. McRoy did not respond and after the 3rd time I said that I would take more action they finally responded and said that because I threatened to take future action that they were declining to warranty any work. Again, another attempt to push responsibility on me instead of warranty their very poor workmanship.

Based on observable results and lack of follow-up, workmanship issues were not resolved and warranty obligations were ignored, I cannot recommend McRoy Painting. Consumers should be aware that substandard work may not be corrected once payment is received. Photos don’t do it justice.

We had McRoy painting paint our house. They are a local company here in Lee's Summit. Their pricing was extremely reasonable. They replaced rotted boards, sealed all the gaps and cracks. They were always on time and did an absolutely great job. The team of Adam, Gage, Jake, Mazen, Justin, Will C and Will B was fantastic! If you want quality work with attention to detail at a resonable price, then McRoy painting is the company to go with. Our house looks wonderful! Thanks guys for a great job!

I’ve used McRoy for wood rot repair, small modifications on the house, and other miscellaneous painting projects. They have always been quick to respond, services are performed on time, and their workers are courteous and respectful of our property. I will continue to use McRoy whenever painting needs arise. Great company with great service!!!

We used McCroy to remove popcorn ceilings and paint almost our entire interior, 2 years ago. They did a fantastic job, and their paint job has held up amazingly well. When it came time to paint our exterior, we didn’t think twice about who to call. They professionally fixed some wood rot and spent days on prep work. We feel confident that the exterior our home is safe for years to come. Our home looks amazing!!! P.S. Their crew is amazing and so kind!!!
