Sales misrepresented the services and then I had to pay $398 to cancel. Which was worth it because the annual cost of their program is $1,656. I was told General Pest Control was 75/mo plus Outdoor Package at the occasional $90 occurrence. Jaxson told me that they would keep an eye on things because you don't want to wait for bugs to show up, its better to prevent. He said the outdoor package treatments were based on the weather or upon request. They don't keep an eye on the weather or your house. They just follow a paper schedule. Which is every 3 months on general pest and monthly for mosquitos Feb - November. They plan 4 visits annually for general pest. 7 visits annually for outdoor package, 3 of which are at the same time of general pest. This = 8 trips annually. Which means you pay $207 each visit. Per the service report, she was at my house for 7 minutes. 10:08 - 10:15. Jaxson told me the first treatment is a thorough inspection and treatment inside and outside of the home. They would spray baseboards and fog the outside. And it was suppose to be kid safe / friendly. The technicians had no idea they were supposed to go inside of the house until I mentioned it and told me they shouldn't spray around kids... so we had reschedule. Co was very kind and thorough in her report. Only knock was that she asked for a good review in the service report because Hawx will pay techs for good reviews. I wonder how many good reviews are out there because folks are inclined to help the techs earn a bit more money.
Jeffrey C was my technician for this seasonal treatment. He notified me when he was on his way in plenty of time to ensure I was home (for the interior treatment)! He was professional, polite, and very thorough! Gave me photos and descriptions of the treatments on the exterior!I've had three seasonal treatments inside and out since I've been at this home, and I'm very pleased with the results from Hawx! Thank you!
Tyson was the tech that came to treat my yard. He asked me what I needed done, and was very polite! He did a wonderful job and I was pleased with the visit. Hawx is a great pest control company. They are always very thorough. I really recommend Hawx.
Corrina was very helpful. She checked all the rodent Traps sprayed for spider and put a treatment on the bed. We weren’t there when she got there. She called me. Carrina has great customer service. I think she needs a raise!
The techs themselves are great, but customer service is HORRIBLE.I spoke with a representative on December 23rd to cancel my account (I have a 7 minute phone call record to prove it). I was told that my account was cancelled successfully and that I would not incur any more charges. On January 3rd I was charged again. I called customer service today to determine why, and was informed that they had no record that I had cancelled my account, and that because they had no record, they would no refund me my money. That doesn't seem like my problem as the customer? It seems like Hawx needs to improve their internal management of customer agreements instead of making me pay another $60 for no reason. On top of it, when I asked to speak to someone else, the CSR hung up on me.Do NOT recommend this business. I'm out money because of their poor management, and don't want anyone else to end up in the same boat. Had I been refunded my money after being a loyal customer since 2023, I would not have left this review. Instead, I was treated like I was lying.
