They are manipulative, giving us this "deal" which I believe was like half off or something since we said we didnt have money for it, but misrepresented what it would entail and then gave us this whole script when we tried to cancel. We have paid them over $100 a month for 8 months and they've only been out here 4 times? We were under the impression they were coming monthly. They make it impossible to cancel, I tried emailing them and you cant do it on the website. You have to call and try to be convinced to stay and then told I have to pay another $200 to cancel. So I've paid over $1000, they would not refund the appointment that I canceled that I already paid for. And now I cant look back at our invoices because they didnt just cancel our services they deleted the entire account. I was told I was violating our agreement by canceling "so soon", I cant even read the agreement. We never got a deal, this whole thing was a scam. We didnt want it in the first place, were talked into it by some smooth talking guy that was "trying to help us out" by giving us a deal, and then never given that deal. Do not get this service, go with someone that isnt so desperate they go door to door, someone who lets you cancel online and someone who doesnt say you'll get a $60 deal for 6 months but then makes you pay $107
Justin was my service technician on August 8, 2025. That day, and with my permission, his supervisor was trailing him around the yard taking videos for a training. That day was one of the hottest and most humid days of this summer. If his service visit took longer than Aptive allotted-I think they should reward great service-and give bonuses to the employees that do top notch work. Justin did a wonderful job in taking care to treat all the pests around my house (inside and outside.)Justin was thorough, listened to my concerns, politely answered my questions, and was patient with me pointing out of several ant problems. After treating the yard, he pointed out two Paper Wasp-Nests that have infiltrated my retaining walls. That reminded me to point out a third nest that had taken up residence in my patio railing, resulting in two very painful stings to my chest and my leg.Justin sprayed for spiders inside the unfinished basement. He also took care of three dead mice in the traps that Aptive loadedlast time they were here. Justin suggested some outside bait traps that will keep the mice out side from coming in. Can’t say enough about Anna or Aptive! Anna is thorough, kind, informative and friendly!! I love when she comes out to treat our home. Aptive has made a huge difference in my family being able to be outside this summer. In years past the wasps and bugs have been so intense it was hard to enjoy being outdoors. Aptive is a great company, with great employees!!
I know how important these ratings are. I will again give you high marks. But still have not done what was promised on the hive on the south side of the house and did most of the deck underneath. Hope we can get this done. I am not threatening. I will sacrifice a little money so I do not pay more over the long run. I am sure Your competitors will have no problem finishing the job. Or do I have to give the lowest marks to get anywhere? Shad did promise and that was why I agreed to move forward with the service.
