Does someone need to be home for a SafeYard application?
Nobody needs to be home. SafeYard asks for an unlocked gate or other access instructions; anyone who is home should stay inside until the product dries, about 45 minutes.
How long does SafeYard’s standard barrier spray last?
A standard barrier-spray application should last three to four weeks.
Should lawns be mowed before SafeYard treats them?
SafeYard recommends mowing beforehand if possible. If the lawn is mowed after treatment, the company asks for a wait of at least a few hours.
Can sprinklers run after a SafeYard application?
SafeYard asks that sprinklers be paused on the application day so they do not run right after treatment. Once the product is dry, it can withstand normal rainfall and irrigation.
