Reviews frequently mention fast responses, especially for early-morning or urgent wildlife calls. Many customers highlight clear instructions and patient guidance for bed bugs and flea concerns. Long-term clients note reliable maintenance for rental properties. A smaller number of reviews raise concerns about trap placement and communication consistency.

Joe is extremely helpful and provided us with post care bed bug treatment. We had treatment done by another company (before we knew of Green Valley Pest Control) and weren't given any post care instructions. A friend recommended we reach out to them, and they took the time to give us proper instructions and answered all of our questions. It's very clear they value people's concerns and needs. We will be using them for any future pest related issues.

If there was an award for unprofessional incompetence this crew would be number one. We read the reviews and Joe's complete lack of tact in responses as a red flag before the property manager even had them out but it's not our call.

We had Dallas out in early april. He placed a grouping of traps in two areas easiest for him to reach, stating and acknowledging that they were in bad places that would most likely not catch anything but because he didn't want to go into the space he would check them in a week and move them if needed. I explained to him that there were also noises in the walls and that the dog of one of our guests kept bringing attention to the lower vents, his solution was to inform him if there were any actual signs inside the house for him to act on.

He then offered to set poison traps throughout the property. When I informed him that there are many wild animals (hawks, crows, eagles, owls, coyotes etc) and that we had concerns about secondary poisoning he guranteed that there was no risk because of the new formula for the poison. When asked to further explain how it worked without secondary poisoning, his complete lack of knowledge on the topic resulted in him having to look up what it was even called so that we could research it ourselves, only to find that he was either lying through his teeth or completely unaware.

The poison is Ditrac 22134, it is supposed to be the 4th step in trying to get rid of rodents as per the integrated rodent control steps. Our property managers swears by these guys because they helped her in the past, which anyone can do if all you're doing poisoning everything in the area... Bonus points for having opened every one of the poison traps and leaving them that way.

Fast forward to today, the FIRST return visit from the company in over two months (and just to be clear for the much anticipated toxic response from Joe to this review, Dallas clearly stated that he would be in contact to schedule a return visit when he had an opening, within a week, to both myself and partner before leaving). We had started having our property manager reach out on week 3-4, here we are almost 3 months later.

We finally caught a mouse in the basement in one of our own traps and requested that they come out immediately to check all of theirs. It took one week for them to show up to clear the trap. So for a full season now, we've had rodents breeding in our attic, traveling into the walls to the point of accessing the house itself.

When Dallas showed up he was late which, after 70+ days since he was supposed to be back, what's another 20 minutes really. He then checked one of his lazy reach spots and resealed the access, didn't rebait, didn't move them to a better location. I told him that the trap that caught something was in the basement where we had set a trap of our own. So he took the trap and grabbed an old poison box (previous tenants), saying that he was going to refill the poison. I took the opportunity to restart the conversation about secondary poisoning. When I informed him that he was sharing misinformation about the poison he played dumb and said that he only got his information from his supplier and had never looked into it himself. I told him that it's dangerous to be poisoning people's houses without proper knowledge and asked him about the proceedures that are supposed to be done before the use of this substance. He hadn't the faintest hint of a clue that there was anything involved beyond just putting poison out.

I pressed him further about my concern for his lack of competence potentially causing harm to which he responded by having a tantrum, grabbing his ladder and storming out. I asked him to clean up his traps which he refused and responded with "I'll be in touch with the owner and you can get another pest control company out here since I'm not competent".

So here we are with a half dozen halfwittingly placed traps, a full season of rodent reproduction in the house and grubby hand prints on every surface the guy touched 10/10 call someone else and report

Joe has been extremely helpful in our recent issue with fleas. He's going above and beyond to help us before we even need his services. He's actually hopeful that we don't need him to come in. We've had multiple conversations and phone calls to answer our questions and calm our nerves. He's understanding, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. I would highly recommend using this company for any pest control needs. Thank you, Joe!
