I needed a plumber last minute after work. Apparently after 4pm in most of town, is "after hours" for plumbers. I am a teacher and do not even get home till after 4. I called several different companies and was just shocked at the price to just get someone out here. Finally came across Walker and the sweetest woman answered the phone and told me she would try and get someone out..and she did! Leo the technician was fantastic and also very knowledgeable. He gave us some great tips about our system and what we can do to avoid this in the future. They charged one flat fee for the call and the work combined. Walker will be my go to from now on.
Walker Tradesman Plumbing has been at my house four times over the past three years. They are always available to assist and are very professional when they arrive. The three plumbers I have interacted with are intelligent and willing to discuss the issues at hand to help resolve in the future. It seems as though plumbing issues always happen when you least expect them and Walker is always available to help resolve those issues.
Steve came within an hour of our call on a Saturday. He was very polite and forthcoming about the cost and diagnosed it quickly, and did the repair in a timely manner. Have used WTP multiple times and never felt bad afterwards...high recommendation.
We have used them for years. Why? They come when you call, and help with emergencies. This time, both our water heaters went out on the same day. Called and they were there within 3 hours. Very courteous. respectful of property and our situation. Advised of lunch break, how long they would be gone and when to expect them back, and they arrived early. My Wife and I trust them, and they always address me be name [on the phone or in person]. They may have a new name, but they still are the Great Plumber Company my family relies on. Thank you.
1 review2.0 star rating 1/2/2018They did show up at the scheduled appointment time, however, it took them over an hour to write an estimate. For a water leak under house, pier and beam, repair small leak on water heater line and to replace all valves in house. Once I accepted estimate, just for the leak under house and to repair the water heater, they had to leave to get parts. Came back, it took them less than 10 under the house to realize they didn't have all necessary parts to fix leak under house. So they had to leave again, for another hour. They came back and 5 minutes later the leak under the house was fixed. Then they decided the pipes under the sink were leaking and needed to be replaced. Funny how they had never leaked previously but what am I to do, I was at their mercy. Of course that upped the price. AND, the didn't have p-traps, so they left for another hour to go get p-traps. When they finally finished and left, we discovered they hadn't relit the pilot light on the water heater. So, yes they had to return. So, $925.00 later, everything does seem to be working but the price was astronomical and the fact that they had no parts on their truck was ridiculous. I would never recommend them.
