Had an issue with my backflow causing us to lose water at my house. I called several plumbers after hours and many did not offer any availability until next week or they simply did not have the rebuild kit in stock. When I called Armstrong, Amber answered the phone and offered to call her service techs to find out if they had a rebuild kit on any of their trucks. She called back quickly and informed me that one of their techs did have one onboard and he was finishing a job and could be out in the next 30 minutes. Rob arrived and replaced the bad part and we had water again after just about an hour of downtime. Great experience!
Rob did a great job getting our pipes unclogged on short notice. Super nice and helpful. Thank you!
I just want to give a big shoutout and thank you to Rob. He came to rectify our flooded bathroom as well as the garbage disposal . It took him no time to clean out the drain that was backed up. We needed a part for the sink, he left to get and was back in no time! He was very nice and professional highly recommend!
We have had abysmal experience with this company. First, they quoted the service fee of $268 for descaling our 8 year old Rinnai tankless water heater. The plumber arrived the day of the appointment, but did not have the necessary equipment in his truck to do the service. The next day he brought the equipment but immediately upon completion of the service our perfectly working water heater started to leak and needed replacement. The replacement cost was $3000, the expense we did not need to incur prior to the service. Finally the company has sent us the bill for $343, considerably more than what was quoted prior to the appointment. We do not know what the plumber did to damage our water heater, but we never had any problems with the unit before the service and it was completely ruined as a result of it.
We had a truly unfortunate and distressing experience with Armstrong Bros Plumbing. This took place April 14th in the middle of the night and still waiting for communication from the owner. During a service visit, a plumber accidentally caused a toilet overflow while snaking, which resulted in sewage water leaking through our ceiling to the first floor. This not only damaged the flooring around the toilet but caused the entire ceiling near our front door to crumble and flood with water.Despite having video evidence, the plumber’s own statements, and repeated polite follow-ups, we have yet to receive a single call back from the owner—despite being promised multiple times by office staff and a manager. Weeks have passed, and the damage has since worsened due to mold growth. We've spent thousands of dollars out of pocket for emergency remediation, including mold removal, containment walls, air scrubbers, and replacing ruined materials. We've even had to throw away personal items and rearrange our living situation—our daughter had a health reaction to the mold, forcing our family of 7 to sleep in the living room for weeks. Additionally we have video and recordings we sent to the company providing visual and audio of what took place, what the plumber had said (including even telling us we would probably have to lift the flooring up around the toilet due to his overflow during snaking), and the results to what took place. We understand accidents happen, but what matters most is how a company responds. Unfortunately, Armstrong Bros has not taken accountability or shown any willingness to help resolve the damage their plumber caused. The lack of communication and follow-through has added immense stress to an already difficult situation. As of today, Friday 5/2/25, we have still not received communication from the owner, despite multiple times being reassured he would by office personals (front desk and manager). We would not recommend this company based on our experience. We’re still hoping they will do the right thing, but it’s been extremely disappointing so far.
