Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise prompt, professional help: one reports a technician quickly cleared a plugged main sewer line, while another got a Saturday visit near the end of the day despite a nearly full schedule. One customer says the toilet connection leaked after drain snaking and the technician did not tell them a nut had been dropped inside the toilet; another says an added truck charge was not disclosed and that a link did not work, with the plumber unaware of the offer.

Main sewer line in my house was plugged, everything that went down the drain overflowed out of my downstairs toilet and sinks, it was the weekend ... I have used Mr. Rooter services several times before in a commercial building so I already knew they were more expensive, but I also knew that they always got the job done professionally, right the first time and to my complete satisfaction. In fact, the reason I started using them was they had to complete a job my usual plumbing contractor couldn't finish. Waris was on time, properly equipped, knowledgeable, professional, and had my drain going in no time. He asked the right questions so he could address the problem and followed up to make sure things were flowing, checking for leaks, cleaning up afterwards. And again, while he was here, dealt with a previous issue my usual plumber said was difficult and wouldn't do. For me, they are value for money, and their service has proven that to me several times. Thank you, Waris!

1. Promo offer on the website for "Drain Cleaning Special" which expires 03/13/2026 (photo attached) link did not work & plumber knew nothing about it. Please review my Invoice H27694 & refund or explain why not. 2. plumber added a $24.00 "Truck Charge" which wasn't disclosed when he arrived and must be A JOKE...!!! Is there any plumber in the world who doesn't arrive in a truck? When Mr Rooter is charging $289 for the 1st hour, do you really think the $24.00 "Truck Charge" is necessary? Please reverse that "charge" immediately.

Awesome service! I needed a service call over the weekend and was told that Saturday was almost full. Mr. Rooter managed to get a tech out to my place near the end of the day. Parm is professional and very thorough. I have called Mr Rooter before and will do so again in the future.

Mr. Rooter did a good enough job snaking my drain but I had to dock stars for the re install of my toilet. When putting my toilet back I saw the technician messing around with a set of giant pliers and I sort of thought why is he using those. When my wife went to tidy up she noticed the connection was leaking quite badly. The connector was super loose so I had to tighten them myself. As I was doing that I noticed that the nut to hold the toilet to the floor had been dropped inside the toilet. This wouldn't have been an issue had the technician told me he dropped the nut because it was super tight in there and he was a big guy. He did not however, tell me he dropped the nut and there was nothing holding the toilet down on that side. That is inexcusable. So I'd doubt I'd use these guys again. I also feel the tech kind of fudged the time a bit. He spent what seemed like 20 minutes to write out my invoice which put him closer to a 2 hour call than the just over 1 hour to actually finish the job.
