Critical reviews mention dissatisfaction with pricing clarity and responsiveness in some interactions. Overall sentiment points to capable technical work with room to improve consistency around estimates and communication.
Was quoted over the phone around $100 to send a technician to scope the drain to check why the toilet gurgled after flushing. He was here about five minutes and told me I most likely needed the tank pumped but removed the toilet anyway and had a look. The bill was close to $500, service call, $100 camera fee, plus the tech's travel time to FB and back to Courtenay. When I complained they removed the camera fee and I paid it. By the way the tech didn't clean up the old toilet seal ring and I can see it leaking out around the toilet now. Never again.
Can’t say enough good things about the quality of work! Absolutely recommend Terra Nova and will be using again for future projects.
Tried going with this company a few times before but the guy always seemed resistant to wanting business or to want to help us.
Our 12- year old hot water tank had a malfunction just as we came home from vacation. It needed to be replaced. Nick from Terra Nova said one of his guys would call the next afternoon. Early afternoon the next day Karan called & came by. He removed the old tank & installed the new one. Answered all my questions .I was very impressed with the quick, thorough & professional service from this whole team!
Nick and Taylon were both awesome after we had a rather large plumbing emergency at our strata complex. They identified the problem, excavated it, repaired it, and buttoned it all back up cleanly and efficiently. The bill was very reasonable for the work they completed.... All this while explaining everything as they went, and both were respectful and polite workers. 5 STARS.
