I called on January 23rd to book an appointment to have my well water pipes inspected and to see if there were any preventive measures that could be done to prevent them from freezing. After explaining this twice to the young lady that answered, she scheduled me for a normal appointment on Monday, the 26th. She indicated they would contact me an hour before their arrival in the window assigned for the “afternoon”. The gentleman called at 2:56 stating they were 20 minutes out. While we are bearing in mind the weather was inclement Monday, the office should have just rescheduled those Monday appointments, but nonetheless, they kept the scheduled appointment time. My husband proceeded to clear a spot for their truck in the driveway, and was working on the surrounding areas when they arrived. The gentleman immediately became leery of parking in the driveway way and requested to park in the neighbors driveway, further away, which was equally snow covered. Clearly, this is not something we can grant but said they could park in the cleared area or the street, no problem. They proceeded to sit in there truck idle on the road for another 10-15 minutes just to inform us they “didn’t want to get stuck and their supervisor said to leave and have us reschedule”. This chain of events was odd given the rationale and requests given, but okay. So I call the office and ask to speak to someone about the incident, with hopes to reschedule rather soon. I was informed because of the weather the office was closed, but she would have someone call us back the next day. Best we can do. It has now been 4 business days with no call back, no discussion, just a very oddly blown off appointment. I can forgive the need to reschedule because we can’t control the weather regardless of how strange the excuses and questions were given when they did arrive. However, I cannot forgive a business that lacks the courtesy of acknowledging the issue/need and not calling a customer back. I’ve hired plumbers and hvac experts many times throughout the years, and I can say I’ve never been treated with such disregard. I hope you guys take this review and try to improve on your service and customer retention.
Ed Rike Plumbing are very responsive. Got to the job quickly. Ricky did an great job. Put in 2 new toilets and fixed a broken flange.
Want to say a big THANK YOU to Elijah and Kyle for helping to replace my sister's water heater. You were the only plumbers willing to come out at such a late hour.Furthermore, you were exceptionally polite and professional when we spoke. Thank you again for all your help.
Had a great experience with Ed Rike Plumbing. They have been out multiple times for various issues we have had and they were incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Ricky and Steve most recently helped out with a water heater issue and they were able to get the parts they needed quickly and installed which solved the issue. They were very friendly and even gave us some tips on other stuff we could repair/replace on our own not related to the current issue that will save us from problems in the future. Couldn't recommend them more. Prices are also very reasonable and they were up front about wanting to help save us some money on the repairs. Great company!
Recently, Justin with Ed Rike Plumbing replaced my father’s old water heater. From start to finish, from initially contacting Ed Rike to Justin’s finishing the job, my father was very pleased. He said Justin’s skill, knowledge, and his professional and friendly manner were exemplary. And he recommends Ed Rike and Justin for anyone facing plumbing issues.Thank you Justin and thank you Ed Rike for a job well done.
